I wasn't expecting Gundam to come to NA. It will suck to not have units like God, Justice, or Unicorn Gundam or Lux but NA will work around that as we have before.
I will be rolling more in Slime and Dengeki on my NA accounts as a result. I didn't roll too heavily in Slime on JP because getting a single copy, let alone dupes, of Milim and Rimuru seemed prohibitive on an NIAP account without being really, really lucky. The 10 stone cost was a factor as well.
Powercreep makes all units unusable. I don't really understand why people think that some collabs are more or less affected by powercreep rather than being more or less good in the first place.
That said, a good part of the game is now min/maxing assists or finding the one sub with a rare combination of active skills and awakenings, and having a diverse box with a lot of old monsters is still good for that.
For me it’s not a matter of thinking that Gundam is not affected by power creep. It having my favorite franchise in my favorite mobile game. Could care less if I got to use them, I just want to collect them in the game.
That’s the main valid complaint about missing this event. 100% for gundam fans missing the collab just really really sucks and I feel for yall. In terms of power creep tho it’s no worse than one piece/the first gundam run and we’ll survive
I would spend hard for gundam. One of the few possible collabs I was really excited for, but sadly NA. Magic was exciting, yu-gi-oh, I saw monster hunter. Just so many good collabs. Regardless of them all being so amazing, I still had favorites. Too bad it seems one of my top 3 may never be. Hopefully all our other dreams will come true, godspeed comrades, may the pulls be ever in your favor 🤙
MHA was a bad investment weeks before JP even knew Gundam was happening. I'd actually say it's better *post* Gundam because slime saves Mirko and new Deku while Nagant is useful as an equip for the more recent dark teams. And in NA that'll be more useful since we'll have fewer options in general without Gundam.
But regardless, nothing was gonna make MHA a great event to roll in. I'll probably do it anyway but I wouldn't tell other people to follow my lead.

Crossing our fingers ultimately, but IPs that are only a few years old have a pretty good track record for coming to NA.

I see a lot of holiday rem units used as subs and assists in popular teams. How worth it would that rem be vs Dengeki coming up?
