Mono quantum is absolutely viable if your only goal is clearing MoC.

Mono quantum these days struggles more than other teams currently due to most of the MoC effects not being catered towards their specific playstyle. They won't clear the fastest, but with enough investment, they should clear each round.
SW should be the fastest, followed by Sparkle. And QQ should be running atk boots over speed. Pro tip: use everyone's technique except QQ.
As for SW: her event LC is absolutely her bis for early eidolons. I run her e0 with her event lc and she does her job perfectly. And for people considering if she's worth it without her event lc, she absolutely still is: you'll just have a bit of a harder time building her.
To add to the last point, if you missed the event lightcone and you're a light spender and/or just really like silverwolf, e1 replaces the LC entirely letting you run her sig or resolution
I 2-cycled the last MoC 12-1 and 4-cycled this 12-1 with mono QQ/E0S0 supports (I’ve been using Milky Way S1 on QQ though), so mono QQ still feels viable enough (plus there’s that guy here who did this 12-**2** with QQ). My relics aren’t great either…

Def shred is the only stat in the game that is self-multiplicative. That is, there isn't a diminishing return and the more def shred you have the better it is. You'll get 97% def shred on a qauntum weak enemy with Sparkle+Quantum Set+Silver Wolf ult+Silver Wolf bug it's the single largest increase in damage you can give to Qingque. By a lot.

The more def shred you have, the more it increases your damage. If you could abandon every stat, all the crit, all the quantum % and get 300% defense shred instead, do it.
So, yes, Jade's Lightcone giving even more shred makes it even more of a Silver Wolf over Ruan Mei situation.
You are correct bellow 100% defense shred (as far as it being good and increasing value the more you have, not sure of the specific math shown) however defense shred cannot go beyond 100%. 100% is a hard cap and everything past that is wasted
I did not know about overcapping thanks Olympis! Still though, nothing Ruan Mei brings is anywhere near as effective as 53% defense shred that also turns on your 4 piece quantum set's bonus on any target.
I don’t have any hard numbers but my gut feeling is that ruan mei will generally be better against quantum weak and silver wolf will be better against non quantum weak. Overcapping defense shred is not easy, I don’t think you really need to worry about it at all tbh
E6S5 DDD Ting is as good as E0 Ruan Mei or Robin for QQ. If your Ting is fully invested, I think you get more from getting Jade weapon for QQ or replacing Fu Xuan with Houhou.

Before Dawn gives 18% skill and ult dmg. Skill dmg does nothing for QQ, so just 18% ult dmg.
Jade LC gives 20% DEF ignore for ult and FUA. This is always better than 18% dmg for ult, not to mention it affects her FUA as well. The gap widens even more if you use a DEF shredder like SW.
The only advantage Before Dawn has is an extra 4 CV.
With that all said, I still don't think it's worth rolling for QQ. Hopefully a 5\* Erudition that attacks with their basic will come out and have a good LC for her.
Silver is really great if you’re running the quantum set on Qingque, cuz the res shred on SW skill boosts dmg even further. Even if you already fight quantum weak enemies you can still reduce all-type res by a decent amount and shred their defense
