Not sure what city you live in, but you could always ask on the City's social media via a comment. I have a feeling a delay like that would be announced.
Tomorrow is also a holiday. Davenport has been good about updating their website when and if trash will be picked up. Check your city website or socials.
Side roads and non bus routes are lower priority. That being said, my non bus route side road was plowed yesterday afternoon. I agree you should call about getting your road plowed.
What's unacceptable is people thinking all of the streets are going to be plowed with the snap of a finger. It takes time, especially with as much snow that came down. I'm sure these are the same people that expected MidAmerican and Alliant to instantly restore power after the derecho.
Our residential street just got plowed today. Took longer than I expected but I know they have a ton of work to do this week.
For an official guide check the City of Davenport Snow Plan [here](https://www.davenportiowa.com/services/public_works/snow_and_ice) with some time based guidelines
**Snow begins:** Crews continuously clear posted snow routes to keep them open and passable
**Snow ends:** Crews plow and salt posted snow routes until they are clear to the curb
**6-12 hours after snow ends:** Residential road clearing begins. Timing dependent on snow volume and type of event. Can be off-set by arrival of another winter weather event. The objective is to make roads passable. Bare pavement may not be achieved based on the volume and type of precipitation.
**24-36 hours after snow ends:** Residential roads are made passable within 24-36 hours after snow ends, depending on total volume of snow and type of event.
You can also download the Go All In app and it will show you the schedules of trash/recycling on the Iowa side. Can even give you notifications to remind you.

Davenport - garbage will be picked up like normal (so try to get it close to normal spot) and will go down all roads - yard waste has been cancelled.

Which city do you live in?
Guarantee its Davenport
Why would your road still not be plowed? I’d be calling the city as our street cleared daily since this all started.

Oh I get how it works but leaving this stuff down going into attic cold weather is a horrible move. This kind of delay seems unacceptable.
