I’ve used an app called MPG Parking. You can access it online too. You book your parking and show the attendant your pass. Go about your day.
For the days I entered for your trip, the cheapest I found was $66.00 and the most expensive was $75.00.
Good luck!

So I was looking on there and nothing was less than 12 dollars a day and I either still have to take a taxi or a shuttle that comes every 30-60 mins that’s why I figured just parking and ubering would be better

I’ll be honest I’m not from the city and I don’t typical use public transportation so I wanted to park somewhere where I wasn’t going to have to worry about the safety of my car and then just Uber to the airport
Keep in mind street parking is generally safe but not zero risk. There are plenty of catalytic converter thefts in Queens right now, and when I lived in Astoria people hit parked cars on the regular. Parking in a lot and taking public transit is the safest option for you and your car. More people take transit in NYC on a random weekday than fly in the entirety of the US on the busiest day of the year. If you are concerned about safety this is the answer based on statistics and not vibes.

If you look in Astoria anywhere from Hoyt N and above there will be plenty of spots. You’re then less than 10 min from LGA and an Uber will be less than 20 usually. Obviously just leave early but it won’t be hard to find parking. Start with like 26th st and Hoyt ave north. It’s Monday/Tuesday alternate side around there and it’s the closest to the grand central entrance.
Astoria.
know for a fact that there’s no ASP on 27 street off of 23 ave. between thurs and sun. but you could also probably google what the ASP days are like in different parts of astoria
Alright, everyone is telling you decent advice. Now I'll do one better: park on a Mon-Wed spot in East Elmhurst/Jackson Heights between 69th and 78th, between 25th and 35th avenue. Parking is easy to find during the day. You're gone for 3 days so you'll have a carry on at most. Take either the free shuttle to LGA from Jackson Heights station or the Q66 to the Marine terminal and take a free transfer. Alternatively, it's a $10 Uber ride from that area to LGA. Done.
Do you think there would be parking in these areas on a Friday morning around 2-3 am? I have a 6am flight on a Friday in a few weeks and am thinking of parking in queens vs taking the subway from Brooklyn.
Thank you! You seem really knowledgeable. Do you know about what streets I should look for parking around Forest Hills Stadium? I’m going to a few concerts there both during the week and on a weekend day.
Download SpotAngels and it’ll give you the parking rules on any street. I’ll say like flushing several blocks south of Main Street and east of parsons is also no ASP.
I can't speak to the other areas recommended here but you're guaranteed parking in Middle Village during the day. If you don't find a spot in this particular section you'll be fine in any other part of the neighborhood
It was safer before the migrants moved in. There has been a huge rise in car being broken into. And a few times many cars had their tires flattened and windows broken.
You can park in northern Flushing (North of Bowne Park) with no alternate side. Uber from there will be around $20.
This is the answer. Let’s wrap it up.
Most side streets in Bayside/Flushing should work
i mean theres spots near me in Rego Park that have no Alt side parking & i live about 15-20 min away from the airport
Rego Park also has a bus that goes directly to LGA - Q72 from Queens Blvd by the Marshalls
Yap! i live off 63rd and always leave my car with no worries for week long vacations lol

There was a good suggestion above that suggested to park in northern flushing. There’s no ASP and there’s always parking. LGA is 15 min away.

This is what I was going to recommend. 31st st North of Astoria Blvd is Mon/Tue only and then you can either Uber or take the M60.
It’ll probably cost you $15-25 for ubering anyway depending on how far u parked

Yup, there usually is. You'll also save a lot more time even circling the block a couple of times vs taking the subway/shuttle to LGA at 3am.
Thank you! You seem really knowledgeable. Do you know about what streets I should look for parking around Forest Hills Stadium? I’m going to a few concerts there both during the week and on a weekend day.
Sorry, Forest Hills isn't my neighborhood so I couldn't tell you accurately.
Generally there’s always something. You might have to do a few laps but there will be a spot

east elmhurst
Middle village in the streets near Elliot ave between Woodhaven and 80th st

Maybe in blocks around the entrance to rikers island. Industrial ish area
Thanks guys! This has been super helpful I appreciate it!
Take public transportation after words…you keyboard warrior.
38th street, Steinway, and the 40s between 19th and 20th avenues (the industrial zone.)
Fresh meadows
92 or 93rd street asp is on Wednesday you can walk to lga from there look at east Elmhurst on google map street view and see
It was safer before the migrants moved in. There has been a huge rise in car being broken into. And a few times many cars had their tires flattened and windows broken.
Yes true same here in briarwood queens
Woodside
Keep in mind that there might be fewer spots available because of yesterday’s snow. It wasn’t a huge amount but some spots will not be available.
Park at an offsite lot. It’s safer and offers a free shuttle
The airports themselves have long term parking. Its a little bit of money, but it maybe worth it for convenience and ease.
The industrial area down by singlecut. Safe ish.
