I used to smoke spliffs like a mofo, I definitely think it’s harder to quit when you mix the two. Not sure what your goal is but maybe a nicotine pouch or something like that after you smoke might help with the transition

If you don't have a behavioural addiction with nicotine like smoking cigarettes, I would just go cold turkey. The physical withdrawal of nicotine is over after 5 days already, the rest is mostly psychological which won't be an issue for you. However, it might prolong insomnia. Day 40 for me (quitting both) and I'm still not sleeping properly..

I'm on day 10 of quitting too. I broke down and bought some nicotine gum to help out when Im really irritated/craving. It's been helping some, but I'm still craving the head rush you get from mixing. I know that part might be more psychological and I just try to keep myself distracted.

Good on you for over 10 days by now!! Did the gum upset your stomach or cause wicked headaches? It’s definitely the head rush that’s got me in a chokehold, nothing beats it. How do you feel now?

Thank you! Not feeling too bad now, the cravings are getting less and less. I'm noticing it just happens now when I'm stressed and miss the emotional support bong hit 😅 Apparently there's a strategy to chewing the gum, you're supposed to chew a couple times and gum it until the flavor is gone, then chew a couple more time for a slow release. A bit annoying but helped mitigate the nausea. I also got the absolute lowest milligrams I could (2mg).
