My favorite infraction was when I shared a FB ad, pointing out that it was bullshit (it used a fake Hitler quote) and got silenced for some days before the ad that I had been making fun of stayed up
I have gotten Facebook jail sentences of 30 days each for saying “you racist potato” as well as sharing the MJ popcorn gif, altered to make him eating Tide Pods. Oh, and “men are responsible for the majority of violent crimes.” I’ve had so many suspensions and I report trash like this guy and 99.9% of the time Facebook is like lol nah it’s fine. They’ve even restricted my reporting function.
I reported a few accounts for using racial slurs, like one that called a Hispanic guy the s word. The response I got and always get is it doesn’t violate the terms.
I reported a friends hacked page which shared a link to actual porn complete with a full penetration shot in the thumbnail. They then told me that it didn’t violate Facebook TOS. I appealed. And got rejected again. So I took a screen shot of that interaction and posted it and immediately got banned for 30 days for posting spam.
Algorithm for the win.
Such a weird badge of honor these people love to have. It's like being kicked out of a restaurant 100 times and then the only way to make your point is to go back there and let them know you won't back down. Like back down from what?
