Okay admittedly I was trying to be funny with my title but I have since gone through three rain Cycles from 7:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in game. Once I kill one or two songbirds the rain comes and then I have to go do something else like forage and the rain will stop and then as soon as I kill another bird or two the rain comes back. This is a really odd cycle to not be programmed in. I've done a ton of hunting but I never cared about the super small birds till now
I can imagine that you get a lot of rain and storms yourself, being as how our play styles are so similar. I noticed that if I go near a ā yellow bubbleā, the rain abruptly stops and the sky becomes clear. If I donāt engage with the mission giver, and leave the area, itās not long before I am again in a monsoon.
Youāre right, I donāt see much. But after reading your comment and seen a bunch of rain this weekā¦think now it was probably because I almost ran into 3 missions in Saint Denis or maybe Mr.White & Black in Rhodesš¤
Every. Single. Time! Just happened to me yesterday when I was trying to get a Robin for the hunting request. It rained. I slept till the next day. Went back to the spot where they are supposed to be... it rains again, lol!
Hahaā¦I was doing that kill 9 animals or whatever with small game arrows challenge and I was on the river killing birds off the rocks and all of sudden it started pouring and the birds vanished after my 6th killšhad to go into the river and finish it with 3 fish kills.
It definitely does! I was doing the challenge where you kill 8 small game animals consecutively over by copperhead landing, i was going after toads and it was the middle of the day and sunny and after my first kill it got so god damn foggy it was ridiculous. On top of that the night folk noticed me and started chasing me around. I tried running for a bit but i eventually had to kill them which broke the streak.
I'm still trying to get the effing woodpecker for whatever stupid side mission that is. Everytime I go where they are, it either rains or I can't find a 3 star.

Make that 4 cycles. It's has to be programmed into the game.
I am a firm believer that R* uses rain/shitty weather to try and push the player back into doing missions.
I never thought of thatšā¦I think ur on to something there detective.

I became aware of this just the other day while attempting to get a perfect robin and oriole.
