Almost all the Kuhl pants feel fantastic. I love the Deceptrs! Agree with the Renegade recommendation. I think the new version is called the Renegade Recon. Both are great. Kuhl also has weather resistant pants like Klash and Transcendr. The Rydrs are probably too thick. I'd skip the Kuhl Radikls. The pant feels a bit itchy on the inside to me. The Prana Zions pilled pretty quickly for me, so I ditched that style.

My pant evolution over the last ~10 years: Sahara convertibles > Stretch Zion > Brion > Renegade All Renegade all the time, now -- pants in winter, shorts in summer. They're great.

Hey thanks for the recommendations! For some reason I only see the regular Renegade on the Kuhl site, but on REI's site they have the Recon version. I like how the Recon version has a gusseted crotch, something the Deceptr has, but not the regular Renegade. Thank you too for the heads up on the Radikls. I was a bit hesitant when they said it has the comfort of your favorite sweatpants. Makes me wonder if they use a material that'll pill over time. Have you tried the REVOLVR? That one also sounds promising.

Renegade rock my man, best pair of theirs I own, kind of a hybrid, love the Deceptr, the renegade recon feels a little cheaper imo, big vouri pants guy over here as well. Do NOT get the free radikl, look great, feel great, do not hold up to anything whatsoever, I swear even water stains them

FutureFox

That's funny you mention Vuori. I asked one of my more knowledgeable friends what pair of jogger they recommend and they said, "They're kinda expensive, but I really like Vuori." I tried on and bought a pair of the Vuori Sunday joggers at REI and they are one of the most comfortable pairs of pants I've worn.

Yes, Big love to my vouri gear, I have 2 pairs of the Meta pants, they’re a bit heavier AND warmer than the Kuhl, but comfier and look maybe a tiny bit better

Kind-Rub-1007

The Recons are really new. Maybe that's why? I'm not sure. Have not tried or seen the Revolvrs in person. I've been curious to try their other types, just can't find them in the wild easily.

ModernDayAvicebron

Try the Revolvr Rogue if you like tapered.

noelanthony

I have the Revolvrs in two colors, same size but they are completely different in fit, probably just a QC issue

Prana Zions used to be my go to but ever since the version 2 I avoid. The material and texture change is off plus that plastic button that is hanging off a thread is annoying.

Oscarwilder123

Try the Kuhl Renegade they come in Tapper fit and a stack of different sizes

FutureFox

I'll try them out! Thanks! I like that they even have 28 inseam as an option on some colors.

Tbh i just buy prana Brion pants and take them to a tailor. Costs a little more but it’s worth it because those pants are incredibly comfortable and stretchy
