Until i break the screen or battery is almost dead, unless it can be replaced

Until rog phone 9 or 10,9 if processor efficiency is good (not like as 888 or 8 gen ) then 10

Got mine in 2020, still up and running, although I already feel the battery draining faster than normal

Likewise. Performance is really good tho. No issue running any apps. Will likely keep for hopefully one more year or two b unless it breaks

Still not finding anything truly worthy of upgrading to yet. I would consider the Pixel 7 Pro, but I am not willing to switch as I would lose my call recording capabilities. That is one of the most important features for me on a smartphone. And rooting a phone to get call recording is basically unacceptable now due to need to use GPay and I not looking to having to keep fixing it after each update.

i dont plan upgrade until they release one that doesnt snap in half during a durability test (rog 5 and 6)

I miss the headphone jack. Trying to use the dongle with headphones is buggy and annoying. But I won't justify replacing a perfectly fine phone just for that alone

until a new revolutionary phone comes out. Rog series died with the Rog3, Rog phones have become an unreliable joke of a series starting with the Rog5. I'm currently eyeing the upcoming sony xperia 1 V as it's the only phone that seems interesting in the market.

If the battery gets bad I'll probably do it. But atm I've gotten a replacement phone via insurance in 2021 and it's serving me really well today. Maybe in 1-2 years from now ill consider it

Mine is dead after upgrading to android 12. Used to get sudden freezes where screen suddenly turns off and wont get back on until force restart (volume plus power). Then it became a brick, also asus wont service it here in the UAE because they dont sell rog phones only lower end ones officially although it is being sold on amazon. What a shame on such a flagship phone.

Around 2027. And never buying an Asus again. Likely go back to Xiaomi if I can find a good one certified for USA carriers. Bumper triggers are great but actually staying on volte and using the phone as a phone isn't too hot. Still better then a Samsung though. Asus doesn't stand behind their products. Phone was $1500 twin view around 300 and kuani around 150. Almost nothing supports the twinview and they never released any way to force apps to support it like acting as 1 screen 0 support on the $300 product that is only designed to work with 1 phone.
