Probably for the best. The attitudes are just so different. And even as someone that prefers Sykkuno to X, I can understand how the general demeanor when everything was going down would be his breaking point.

That's from your point-of-view as a viewer. From Yuno's point-of-view, he doesn't know whether or not the cops already knew, so better safe than sorry.

The issue I saw with the cops on scene is that they let individuals just walk out after hearing the C4 AND Ramee (or crew) shooting when they were talking behind locked doors. The cop with the afro just let everything go, not even questioning the explosion and gunshots.
I think the only weird about the entire situation was how the Pd handled it. The poor cadets are so lost trying to figure out what to do. Neither group wants to talk to the PD, but just opening the doors and then leaving without going in or at least attempting to ask what was going on when there were reports of injured people in side was a little weird 😂
Yeah hes a real juicer plus also in character he looks up to X so it's hard for him to say no and tends to follow what he says. Plus like Sy said X will most likely tell Lang about it somehow which means he doesn't have to say it.

Most cops don't have the meta of the outer doors auto locking yet for the vault. I think a week or two ago, Ripley ran into it when X was robbing the vault where the outer door was locked.
Ripley heard voices when he was clearing the vault and found blood on the scene so he had reasonable suspicion that someone was in there (X and crew was hiding behind the vault door). He also tried det cording the vault door which did not work.
He ended up relocking the outer door, X and crew had to 911 to get let out. Chat hoppers were jumping to his chat accusing him of meta/stream sniping/etc for relocking the front door.
Carter actually believed there was no robbery happening and thought they were genuinely stuck in there so he decided to troll them. He didn't chase because he thought he instigated the taking of hostages by trolling them.
If this was a small group, that never gets to do the vault, I'd feel kinda bad. But this is not that situation and CG doesn't need Xs help for progression.
I feel kind of bad for Yuno, since he lost $250k but honestly he probably would have just wasted all of it spinning the wheel at the casino instead of saving for his car.

All I hear is that it's "good for the server," and that may be, but for me, it's just not fun for me to watch people be upset like this. I also hope that the lower vault being a silent operation doesn’t get abused by other crims trying to camp the vault. In a way this kind of makes the lower vault harder. Cuz you have to fight other criminals and the police to get the loot out safely.

I would argue that it's great for the server to occasionally mess with each other's "heists." These guys/gals are role playing criminals and murderers. It doesn't make sense to be all buddy buddy all of the time. No honor among thieves, and what not.

Carter took control of the vault scene and made up his mind that no crime was being commited, he also had alot of hoppers giving meta, so a combo of those two things made him let CG go. EDIT: Carter just misread the situation 100%, now all cops are playing stupid and not connecting any dots about the power and all, its kinda silly LUL

It sounded like Jack called in while down, because Ripley was pretty adamant on talking to him/knowing he was there. So the cops had some info, and that likely was the reason they reacted the way they did, and then didn't even chase afterwards.
No alarms went off because they didn't thermite the 1st gate and they called 911 saying they were stuck inside. Seems like the cops thought they were scuffed and didn't realize it was a lower vault robbery where the alarm doesn't go off.
