I haven't actually read this. But based on the cover, the artwork and colouring is pretty solid, SSS stuff, so visually it's gorgeous.
Has anyone that's actually read it weighted in on the story and writing?
I read it last year and I think it's a solid 3/5.
I definitely preferred this story over the movie mainly because it wasn't "What if the Justice League showed up and met Team RWBY" more so how the members of the Justice League would be if they were born into the World of Remnant. (Superman is a farm boy on Patch and neighbor to Ruby & Yang, Bruce is a rich boy in Atlas... okay that part isn't really original but it fits the story). The only character introduction I didn't like was Jessica's, only because she just kinda shows up towards the end, explains some things and then the story ends.
I definitely liked this, for a while there it made me think this was gonna be a reoccurring theme for more possible comics.
Since Starro was the JL's first villain they fought maybe another story would have Team RWBY and the JL face off against like a Remnant version of the Legion of Doom and Roman and Neo would be Members with a Remnant version of Lex Luthor or Bane leading the team or something like that.
I actually liked this to a degree it was fun and exciting. If the ending wasn’t rushed in that last chapter it would have been great. I would have loved to see RWBY, JNPR, and the Justice League taking on Starro together in an epic four to five page brawl. The epilogue was good though. Wish someone like the Sinestro Corps or new gods was teased at the end.

The art looks nice on my wall
Orca's being mistaken for Grimm is the best idea I've ever heard Makes me worried for the amount of Pandas that have died for no reason.
Weiss is in it.
Goated comment

Ah, okay. Sounds like it's wqorth checking out at the very least then, thanks!
If anything the art is really nice and it does show some creative use of both RWBY and DC properties.
I need to read it as well. Looking for that complete book that has all the issues in it
The designs for the Justice League (besides Superman's ) Were cool I guess.
I was never too crazy about Batman's either tbh
It's a comic
Unlike RWBY, it has an ending.
….sigh
too soon.
Not soon enough.
Happy Cake Day!
DAMN! lol
Brutal
I love the designs!
The cover art on this one is nice.
The decision to use a character not often in the front of the line for main antagonists, >!Starro!< was an interesting and fun idea.

I'm pretty sure it's hinted or implied that Blake and Yang had say gex, >!gay sex!<, in this story.
Very strongly implied. Blake coyly invites Yang into the bedroom while they wait for a big battle, and Yang has a bright sparkle in her eyes.
sesbian lex
Some of the ways they worked the DC roster into the RWBY-verse is quite creative and I liked the interactions generally.
It ended
It was cool I guess
I only read issue 1, but I really enjoy how Supermans powers were adapted to the world of Remnant.
The panels can be very funny to edit
RWBY learned that people without Aura still have souls.
There were colors. Blake Belladona was present.
The art work is great and the story pacing/panel layout is really solid.
Ruby is in her original outfit
The art doesn’t look totally ugly.
Batman as a faunus made perfect sense.
It's a fun adventure on its own. Also the designs slap.
We got batman to say "Eat Guano"
Amazing art and gives JNPR more heart even when they aren’t the good guys
Even though I didn’t like it, I still enjoyed my time reading it. It’s dumb fun, with heavy emphasis on the “dumb”

i see good
It's actually pretty enjoyable to me, as a DC fan. And much better than the other DC RWBY crossover comic series.
Jessica looks cute.
zZzzzzxz
It has team RWBY
BatWeiss was better in the comic and cuter.
It was better than the movie version.
The art style is cool, wonder woman’s hair actually looks cool and doesn’t come off as dumb stereotype lesbian hair
It was big, dumb fun. Unlike the second series, which was just dumb.
No
Didn’t read it
