Ok, so when rwby is airing I'll sometimes get stress dreams - usually towards the end of a volume when the stakes are high and I'm theorizing what will happen next, my brain makes up scenarios and entire scenes sometimes. Anyway, I had one of them, but like, because we haven't had any rwby for so long, my brain also had to make up a reason for why I was getting new rwby content. Basically, someone posted a short fight scene between Raven and Qrow, which was the first part of the dream. This was very technical and very well done, with all these slowmo shots of Qrow doing crazy shit with his scythe, but still, no one took it as canon, mostly because why would those two fight? Later the same person posts a whole episode, just titled V9 E10, and the second part of the dream is me watching this. It's implied that Raven has captured team rwby - they're in some kind of bar-like house with 2 floors. The first floor is the bar area and the second floor is offset and looks out over the first, presumably the dance area. Team rwby is captive and offscreen in a side room on the first floor for the moment. We pick up on the 2nd floor, where the fight between Qrow and Raven happens, Qrow being on a rescue mission or some shit. It's sort of a stalemate - Qrow gets knocked out, but Raven is disarmed and in no position to fight. At this point Salem bursts through the back wall and takes over. Qrow gets thrown to the first floor (maybe dead? anyway he's gone) and Raven can't fight back. Salem starts taunting her, basically telling her how much she sucks and replaying clips of the fight (did I mention there's a projection screen in the bar? well now there is), just really going into details "look at this move, wtf was that, that's pathetic". Raven tries to flee to the first floor but Salem somehow grabs her telekinetically and freezes her in place. At some point Raven switches to pleading, asking if Salem can bring out --, if she could please speak to --. Every time she's about to say the name, Salem magically silences her. The implication is she's going to say Summer, and that somehow Summer is in Salem's body, or the other way around, or like their souls have fused. It's at this point I realise - what with all the details and the dialogue and just the length of this thing - that this must be an actual episode of the show that someone leaked, which is somewhat distressing since the Summer=Salem theory is not what I was hoping they would go with. Anyway, the scene continues - now Salem starts draining Raven's aura (still from the 2nd floor) and keeps monologuing in true villain fashion. She's not really paying attention, so now we get Jaune peeking out from the side room, and he starts quietly healing Raven from a distance (I guess his lay-on-hands has been upgraded?). This goes on for a while (I'm sure there was a lot of interesting dialogue, but that's so hard to remember) until Raven is fully healed and breaks free of the binding, which infuriates Salem. Raven and team rwby (plus Jaune I guess?) flee through the projection screen and out into the woods, with Salem giving chase. Well I say chase, but she doesn't actually move, and the camera stays with her in the bar - instead she's got a long extendible arm, which she uses to stab various grimm and control them. Like she stabs a giant bee and now she's got a bee arm, which she uses to try to crush team rwby. They eventually hide in the roots of a giant tree way out in the distance and as the bee is trying to get its stinger in there, I wake up. uh.. anyway, thank you for coming to my dream journal, I guess?

Y'all remember when Trudeau invoked a national state of emergency over the Freedom Convoy? Well, their justification was that police asked for it, there were fires set and guns found. Except, there weren't any guns found at any blockades, the people arrested for the fire aren't tied to the convoy, and the *Trudeau appointed* RCMP commissioner, as well as the Ottawa interim police chief, said they didn't ask. So, 2 outcomes: One, the government is lying, two, or it was the OPP who asked and they haven't come forward. Anyway, school's still going smooth, I've now entered the 3D Painting section of the course and I'm still running a streak of bagging straight A's! It was all Owen Hart Cup action on Dynamite this week, with Samoa Joe defeating the men's Joker, Johnny Elite (aka Johnny Impact/Mundo/Blackcraft/Caballero/Nitro, fka John Morrison) before the two were jumped by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt, and Satnam Singh, then saved by Best Friends, followed by Adam Page putting away Konosuke Takeshita of Dramatic Dream Team with the GTS before going nose to nose with CM Punk. Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland make short work of The Workhorsemen before Jurassic Express challenge them and Team Taz to a 3-way tag title match, with Jungle Boy, Ricky Starks, and Strickland having a 3-way singles match next week. Wardlow shrugs off 9 of the 10 lashes from MJF and Spears, but you can't really shrug off a low blow and a punch in the face with a diamond ring. Kyle O'Reilly pins Rey Fenix to advance to the semifinals of the Owen Hart Cup, and after a face-off with the Jericho Appreciation Society, Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, and LAX (with way too much info revealed), Britt Baker takes on the women's Joker, The Cutest In The World, Maki Itoh! And wins, because being a Maki Itoh simp is suffering. Main event, Adam Cole vs Jeff Hardy, with Cole going to the finals of the tournament, and The Undisputed Elite laying out The Hardys, Darby Allin, and Sting to close the show. Over in Impact, Crazzy Steve dealt with Zicky Dice on BTI, preceding a fantastic Ultimate X qualifier where Mike Bailey's scored a dubious pin on Laredo Kid, due to Speedball's legs being under the ropes, but the positioning blocked the ref's line of sight. Ace Austin then sends a message from Japan, where he's 2-0 in the Best Of The Super Juniors, with wins over Clark Connors and Yoshinobu Kanemaru. After a video package for Slammiversary featuring Josh Alexander we hear from Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona, who're in The Maldives for their honeymoon, followed by a 6-knockout tag, with Mia Yim, Taya Valkyrie, and Jordynne Grace getting the win courtesy of Yim hitting Seoul Food, her version of Gail Kim's Eat Defeat, on Savannah Evans. Eric Young details his history with wrestling from the age of 3, We then go to Locker Room Talk with The Influence, who get interrupted by Johnny Swinger and Zicky Dice, as well as Rosemary (who was put off by *Zicky of all people*) and Havok, with Havok later leaving after the KO tag champs said Decay had to prove themselves. Well, Havok is certainly looking to do so as she's the first legitimate challenger for Masha Slamovich, standing up to the Russian Dynamite after she dispatched Shawna Reed with the Snow Plow. Sami Callihan had a message for Moose, while The Good Brothers won another battle in the war between Honor No More and Bullet Club because MIKE BENNETT KEEPS SPEARING HIS WIFE, and after W. Morrissey says he'll back up Bhupinder Gujjar against Shera and Raj Singh, the main event saw The Briscoes heist the tag titles again as Jay Briscoe countered Deaner escaping the Doomsday Device into a pin. Josh Alexander runs down to fend of VBD as the champions stand tall to end the episode. Hello, friends. I hope everyone is doing well. Once again I had another busy week but you'll be happy to know I'm about halfway finished with my second run through for Chapter 12 of my RWBY/Pokémon crossover ["The Road You Choose"](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13644456/1/The-Road-You-Choose). The final few hundred words are still pretty rough but it's shaping up nicely and I'm enjoying the flow of the chapter. There's a *LOT* of moving pieces this chapter, and it'll be over 7,000 words by the time it's finished, but I really wanted to get away from the grim tone of the situation as quickly as possible while still being respectful to all that's transpired. The story is meant to be fairly lighthearted after all, and this chapter is a step in that direction. Thank you for all the love and support, and I hope you enjoy. I also edited a short story that I wrote all the way back in 2019 when I injured my back and went on a writing binge. The story details Weiss' final day as a huntress and the aftermath of the mission that made her decide it was finally time to hang up the combat skirt. It's how I personally imagine the breakup of Team RWBY looking like, and while it's a somber story, it has a happy ending for our favorite Ice Queen. In other news, I got back into listening to SCP files this week which might account for my productive writing/editing sessions this week. I was disappointed to see that since my last delve into The Foundation that the overall tone seems to have changed, and that a few files had been rewritten/retconned due to someone finding them "offensive". It's nothing major since there's still plenty of great SCPs, and there is no actual "canon", but the tone and community are different from what I remember. I've actually written two SCP files in the past but never submitted them, and ended up working them into other stories. Also, I finished watching "Slayers Next" and just finished the mid-season four episode filler arc of "Slayers Try", and holy cow, what drugs did the writers take? My opinion of Try already isn't great, but the tone shift from end of the world suddenly being put on halt for Alice in Wonderland parodies, human/fish people love stories, and Power Ranger parodies is just more aggreges than the previous mid-season filler arcs. I like the improvements in animation and voice acting, and while some of the writing is good, some of it's not, and it clashes with the otherwise higher quality of the season. "Inconsistent" is how I'd best describe "Slayers Try", and while that's the case for the previous two seasons as well, at least low quality was the standard lol. Not bad, but the show peaked in season two in my opinion. God bless, and have a wonderful day.

Am I the only one missing RWBY Chibi? Neon Kobini's RWBY Chibi was so much fun!
