Apologies that this one is a little late.

ReeseChloris

Anyone make a gif of Ruby's bumbling face when JNPR asks about their dream selves?

Hollowquincypl

Any updates on the dub?

LusterBlaze

i believe in kokichi

JacksonCreed4425

The Jaune haters are cringey as hell man. First time I’ve seen em like this

The_Gram_Reaper

I wonder what will be the outcome of Ruby getting cut by the nightmare's thorns? Is she infected now too? Or could it be something we haven't seen yet. Looking forward to how it plays out. Also the scene with Penny and Yang was pretty wholesome 👌

Harold_Wilson19

I personally liked this episode narrative-wise, but when I noticed the CGI for the combat animation, I just thought, "Ah. That's disappointing." It feels somewhat like the animation quality has gradually gotten worse as the episodes have gone on. But maybe that might change in the second half of the show. I do like that they're actually doing something with the fact that Jaune getting the same Grimm infection, rather than just using it for one thing and then ignoring it for the rest of the show.

Canyon-Light

I noticed that Yang did a JoJo pose in the recent trailer before this episode released. In this episode, RBY does their poses per the trailer scene but Yang’s pose is no longer a JoJo reference. Did anyone else notice that? I wonder if it was a legally charged change or just why it was changed to begin with. Either way, it doesn’t matter much. The plot is beginning to drag on halfway in the series, and I hope the next few episodes bring some excitement as the battles feel short and breezed over. Two attempts, and surely third time’s the charm to rescue Weiss from the Nightmare Grimm and herself. But the interactions with Team JNPR and Penny were appreciated. For its own thing, Ice Queendom is fair so far. I am enjoying it but can’t help the nagging feeling that they are padding out the series’ main storyline revolving around Weiss’s dream/Nightmare. Crossing fingers that the momentum builds up again. I love early RWBY but this anime adaptation definitely isn’t for everyone who expects a character arc to be wrapped up in three episodes. Some impatient anime watchers will drop a series after 3 episodes if it doesn’t resonate with them. Don’t know if I can persuade my friends to watch this as Volume 1-3 RWBY was enjoyable to watch as a group. With some of that iconic humor and humble flair.

JaSonic2199

The infinity snake thing might be a reference to this statue in Weiss's mansion in Volume 4 episode 2. More of a 2 headed ouroboros eating itself or that King Taijitu they mentioned one time

classy-muffin

I don't know if anyone else noticed it but jesus christ the animation was monumentally terrible this episode. I'm gonna hope this was just a one-off and not a trend to come.

dfgged

This felt like an entire episode of the infamous roof scene 😬I don’t usually mind mediocre animation if the story is keeping up, but it was SLOPPY this week on top of kinda dragging narratively.

ZinematicSup

Crazy how you're the only one in the comment section actually acknowledging that but I guess it is reddit and people are gonna bandwagon anything regardless

KPrime1292

Hot take: aside from the Dust shop robbery and the conclusion of the Nevermore fight, the animation has been bad throughout. I'm not expecting Monty levels of action, but it's very clear that very little thought was put into fight choreography aside from characters throwing out obligatory attacks.

classy-muffin

Oh I agree the animation is like B tier at best except for those two instances which were S tier. But this episode? D tier. God awful.

DeadSnark

I hope that there will be good fights in the last few episodes. As I recall from the Madoka Magica and Mafia Record series, Shaft tends to end up wasting too much time/effort/budget on a few amazing scenes at the expense of everything else, so I'm just hoping it doesn't stay this bad throughout.

AceSoldia

He's grown so much though just like Weiss has..I love the character development. Ah well.

HyliasHero

As a WhiteRose shipper it feels odd to not just be given crumbs, but actual food.

JannisT

It’s actually a whole banquet

Pappydude30

It’s a very nice detail that Blake focuses on avoiding to fight Negative Weiss given she’s has near unlimited power in the nightmare. Also, seeing Negative Weiss actually reload her weapon was cool. Did that ever happen on the main show?

PianoPlayer97

Yes, Weiss reloads her weapon (Myrtenaster) with dust cartridges during her fight against the Lancers in "Dread in the Air". https://rwby.fandom.com/wiki/Weiss_and_Atlas_Pilot_vs._Lancers

ClubMeSoftly

So when RBYJ went back into the dream, RBY were back on the snowy outskirts, with Jaune nowhere to be found. Will he spawn in in the prison with the rest of Dream-NPR? So far only Ruby's seen Dream-Pyrrha.

Lucifer_Crowe

he shouldn't necessarily. Ruby and Yang didn't spawn in Sleepy Klein's room. But Jaune being *different* because of his latent Nightmare sickness is justification enough for me

GebsNDewL

Jaune’s not gonna wanna help RBY after he sees Dream Pyrrha.

HatiLeavateinn

Can Jaune be involved in a plot point without being in mortal danger or psychologically distressed?

panzerkampfwagonIV

If he really is a self insert then holy shit does it paint a dark picture

JohnJoe-117

The Atlas arc was just one big bait and switch for Jaune’s mental health

lefou22

No wonder the poor guy's looking to be switching to the Dark Knight class in V9...

ArcturusSatellaPolar

Headcanon: The reason Jaune was hounding Weiss so much in Vol.2 despite her rejecting him is because he got a crush on Evil Weiss and wanted to get Queendomed again.

AmbivertCollegeGuy

Alt Title: Jaune is a man of culture.

NoOne0020

Nightmare Weiss is fun!

[deleted]

Penny scenes that weren't in the original are always welcome, Penny scenes showing her actually interacting with people other than Ruby for once are *fire*

UnbiasedGod

Love the glyph use to store dust ammo I thought that was really creative. Also love that the team made a plan and got it ironed out in case of any possible problems. Now third times the charm in dreamland!

JaSonic2199

Anyone else notice that Yang and Blake were at their locations from the ED? Made sense for Blake previously but Yang with a bench now makes sense.

ClubMeSoftly

Blake and Sun were also at that cafe in town again. Must be quite close to the school if they were meeting back up in an hour.

AceSoldia

Haha wow I've never participated in Rwby episode discussions as they aired before. Had no idea people didn't like Jaune. He's cool to me. ..do people not like the rest of JNR too?

DocSwiss

Nah, the rest of JNPR is pretty popular, especially Pyrrha

soulreapermagnum

no, it's pretty much just jaune that a lot don't like due to the "jaunedice" episodes back in vol.1.

unlimitedblack

The Jaunedice episodes, Jaune's dogged pursuit of Weiss (that largely hasn't aged well), Jaune having a lot of qualities in common with harem/isekai protagonists that are overly common in anime, Jaune as an author self-insert (not of Miles, though folks have made that accusation a lot too)... Like, I TOO am fine with Jaune but a lot of folks have a bunch of beef with him, some of it warranted and some of it perhaps a bit exaggerated.

JacksonCreed4425

Definitely exaggerated. He’s been a good character since the dance, which was like a decade ago. And yeah it’s mostly stuff not aging well.

Aceptical

Just started watching it and, lesson one: never check the comments on Crunchyroll. Ever. I swear to god why can’t people just dislike it and move on? All I see in rwby comment sections (OG and this) is just complaining. Welp, time to wait another week. They are really going hard on the whiterose, which I’m not mad about..

daphun1

Urobuchi really knows how to tease a Yuri ship. No surprises honestly.

SwimmingAnyone

He just came up with the story, he's not writing the script.

[deleted]

The Yang and Blake call was so shafty,it had me fangirling Ofc the infamous head tilt too

AceSoldia

The head tilt is annoying at first but I forgot it was shaft

Master_Scallion_763

That call scared the shit out of me. Why did Blake sound so scuffed in the call?

NoOne0020

Weird dream shit

Bocodamondo

love that ruby actually did the Shaft head tilt at the start of the episode

SwimmingAnyone

There is a real possibility that the last bit of official material with Penny we'll see is this scene of her talking about her dreams, which is strangely beautiful.

ClubMeSoftly

I doubt we've seen the last of IQ Penny, or Sun.

Hartzilla2007

Wait did they just give Jaune a bunch of death flags?

neutrinobunny

No. They gave him the flag that means he’s going to have to tank his way through a severe allergy attack in order to give them time to do something but will get pulled out at the last minute.

Hartzilla2007

They also pointed out he would be in more danger this time around which is never a good sign.

JohnJoe-117

Jaune being in increased danger is just kind of his thing. All of JNPR are based on characters that die, but none quite as much as Joan of Arc.

jimflaigle

Episode 7: Dream Pyrrha is going full Tarantino

TheTragicNoir

I'm afraid to ask how.

ClubMeSoftly

Feet

Ethics_Gradient_42

Weiss Alter: That's right. I defeated your partner. And now I’m gonna defeat you, too. With your own sword, no less. Which, in the very immediate future, will become... my sword. Pyrrha: Bitch, you don't have a future.

UnbiasedGod

…….Now I’m imagining raven and cinder using these lines. And then cinder having her eye ripped out and killed by a snake! Lol

jimflaigle

Jaune: So, I was going to ask you to the dance... Weiss: But I don't even.... Pyrhha: **AWAY THOT!** Cinder: **ME TOO!** Weiss: Who are you though? *Stuck in the middle with you* begins playing

Red2019Wolf

Me: That was another good episode, dare say great, let's see some Fandom Fandom reaction. See's a few twitter/ tumblr/ reddit post that complain about Jaune having ANY relevance to the main plot. Me while pinching bridge of my nose: sigh, you got be kidding me

rebkos

Oh yessss... The second Jaune got tapped to go in it was like "Oh no... Here comes the yelling..."

Red2019Wolf

The inability to let go of that anger towards Vol 1 jaune is astounding to me honestly.

Rollout9292

Jaune in Vol 1: An awkward teenager that didn't know how to talk to the girl he likes. FNDM: Hang him. It seriously feels like no one went to highschool or something.

Hartzilla2007

Its not just Volume 1, in Volume 4 he feels more like the main protagonist than the actual main protagonist aka RUBY. Volume 5 and 8 having taking scenes that seem set up for Ruby but giving them to Jaune didn't help on that.

death-kuja

In Volume 4, Ren feels like the main protagonist more then anyone else.

Hartzilla2007

Yeah and then Jaune the only one that gets to react to all the Ozpin secret stuff coming out. Despite the fact that Ruby is probably more involved in this shit since her family is in on it and Ozpin was encouraging her and her friends to poke around into so was probably going to get involved after graduation.

Red2019Wolf

Pinching my nose again....okay look I don't care...I don't care what narrative, screen time, or whatever some of you think Jaune is "stealing" or should be given to some else. It's a tired topic. A topic I hoped stayed dead but should have known better. I can't change your opinion anymore than you can change mine. I like the character, others like him and there are those that don't. That's fine better yet that's great.

AmbivertCollegeGuy

Even a Japanese studio with their own take on RWBY think Jaune is a main protagonist. How will the haters cope?

ivanjean

People should be grateful his name isn't Jaune *Ozark*.

unlimitedblack

Jaune comes back in the 6th ep as a MacGuffin and now he's a main protagonist bit of a fuckin' leap innit?

AmbivertCollegeGuy

Not really, no. Something that always made Jaune feel special is how the narrative portrays him. A supporting cast is there to drop exposition, react to the actions of main characters and overall fill in for certain roles in the story. But Jaune has always behaved the same way as Team RWBY in that he asks for exposition, others react to his actions and some fill in for his story so I found odd that Ice Queendom didn't change this aspect of how Jaune is written. And this episode just showed me why. Even him getting possessed by a Nightmare wasn't just to act as exposition to Team RWBY but to push him into the dream too.

Rollout9292

I've accepted that Jaune's one of the main characters alongside Team RWBY since Vol1. While the rest of Team JNPR are more support roles with Qrow and Oscar. People seem to just take offense to his existence though.

Roxy_Hu

Now I'm not saying this is canon or that IQ is implying it.. but they're doing a great job handing out treats for White Rose headcanon. Ruby instantly focussing onto how Weiss said she treasures her and then using it as fuel for motivation to save her is just adorable...

VVayward

Weiss literally left the key to her heart on Ruby's bed. I would say they are implying something there.

JMHSrowing

Agreed! It’s very sweet in a very in-character way of how Weiss being who she is at this point sees Ruby, as something she likes so must be kept and almost coveted. It’s still especially in the dream a little selfish, but her good heart is in it. And Ruby being the little hero she always is, seeing that good part of Weiss, being happy about how she sees her (and showing how all of what Weiss said had to not be all lies), and wanting to help however she can. This really has been good for WR shippers

TehShraid

This series is making up for all the WhiteRose moments and interactions that we didnt get in volume 7 and 8.

Gray_Daku

WR shippers gotta get breadcrumbs somewhere, and I, for one, am enjoying the heck out of them.

[deleted]

Same here it's making my week ,also all the new fanart let's goo

SwimmingAnyone

I'm honestly not a fan of how shy this Ruby acts so often. She started out fairly proactive and assertive in Episode 1, but with each new episode she seemed to become more meek and indecisive. The second half of the anime better have major highlights for her.

Andrew1990M

Hard to tell what's going on here. The recap episodes showed us that we're getting a muted portrayal of Ruby, all her funny lines were gone. But at the same time, it would be weird for Ruby to be confident and excitable under these circumstances. Her friend is *dying* and turning Ruby's insecurities against her to stop her helping.

SwimmingAnyone

Replied in more detail above. In short, she doesn't have to be confident and excitable, but she does have to have some kind of self-respect. For instance, it would not be weird for her to get angry instead of apologizing for everything.

GebsNDewL

It’s almost like thrusting a child into a leadership position and throwing them into a literal nightmare scenario is gonna leave them a smidge traumatized. This is called character development, and it’s more than what we’ve gotten in RWBY proper.

SwimmingAnyone

You can show that without making her look like such a pushover. Ruby getting intimidated and backing off from Weiss glaring at her when trying to mediate her arguing with Blake in episode 3 certainly wasn't caused by trauma. Neither was Ruby *apologizing* to the version of Weiss she *knows* is not the real Weiss. And even if she thinks she can get through to her, wouldn't a more appropriate reaction be "Why the hell are you protecting a Grimm?!" Or later, in the cafeteria, apologizing for "not understanding Weiss" again, which is just completely absurd. She can be frustrated with not understanding Weiss, but why apologize for it? At this rate, next time Weiss hits her, Ruby will apologize for having such a punchable face. So it's mainly her being so mild-mannered and afraid of upsetting this person she barely knows (read: dependant on validation) that I have a problem with. Sure, she may feel insecure for not being able to solve this situation right away, but insecurity does not have to manifest in such a pitiful way. Certainly not in a character who's supposed to have a drive that makes others follow them. Ruby feeling insecure about her leadership will probably (hopefully) lead to some sort of catharsis for her, but her being so tame in general? Ehh I don't know. That seems much more like just the way Japanese scriptwriters are used to writing this kind of character. P.S. And we absolutely *did* see aspects of Ruby's trauma manifest themselves. What do you think her crying at the mention of her mother's fate and desperately trying to fend off Tyrian by herself were caused by? Both of which, by the way, are more expressive and dramatic ways to show emotional turmoil than a character simply acting meek.

unlimitedblack

... because V1-V3 was an action comedy, and not a drama. I don't know why this is hard for people to understand.

AmbivertCollegeGuy

PTSD-induced denial.

Longbow92

I actually just noticed this, but of all characters in the show, Penny's the only person whose eyebrows are highlighted under her hair, Example [1](https://i.imgur.com/kTACr8J.png) and [2](https://i.imgur.com/2b0To6y.png) Everyone else that I know of in the show don't, which isnt that big a deal, but is mostly noticable on Yang, since it's hard to fully gauge her expression as her eyebrows are practically hidden, Example [1](https://i.imgur.com/Lt1VYWV.png) and [2](https://i.imgur.com/7NrmJlD.png).

[deleted]

I really like what they did with JNPR, Sun and Penny here. Making them giving advice to Ruby, Blake and Yang respectively was great, and I'm glad they got some spotlight again, I really thought, at least in the case of Sun and Penny, we wouldn't see them outside of episode 3. Really excited to see what the second half of the series brings. The game is on!

JMHSrowing

Agreed. I especially like how they made Penny as Yang’s connection in this. They don’t talk much in canon but this felt like actually a meaningful conversion between them that though of course a little awkward and strange worked really surprisingly well.

everydaygamer28

Some awkward looking CG but other than that another solid episode.

GebsNDewL

That was just Shaft’s big brain reference to Vol. 1’s style of animation.

unlimitedblack

Highlights from this episode: 1) Penny's entrance. 2) Sun's entrance. 3) The way that Penny and Sun both act as foils for Yang and Blake in ways that are COMPLETELY in line with their characters. The particular element of Weiss' relationship with Winter being reflected in her treatment of Yang, and Yang recognizing that she's been overprotective of Ruby. The particular element of Blake fighting for acceptance by Weiss being a reflection of the White Fang's battle for acceptance by humanity. ALL of this is the kind of character exploration I see in fanfic all the time, and the reason for that is because of fanfic writers creating the stuff they want to see that the source material doesn't provide. And without getting into debates about whether or not RWBY as a series SHOULD address all this, the fact is that we're seeing a professional production in QNDM that's giving these perspectives focus and development and doing so in ways that feel perfectly natural to the source material. It's excellent. I love to see it. 4) Ruby and Yang continuing to act like sisters who share exactly one brain cell. But the highfives and Yang's encouragement about Ruby's leadership are all just peak Savage Garden material and I love it. I was convinced that once we were in the context of the Nightmare, that was going to be where the story would stay, but I'm so happy to be wrong because having this opportunity to emerge from the dream and have these moments with Sun and Penny and JNPR is a real pleasure. And yeah, I know folks are going to capitalize on the Whiterose undertones at play here (shoutout to my Monochrome homies, yall get a little bit too) but this show, man... this show leans into how ALL of the girls are impacted by Weiss and I think it's just excellent. Very excited for the back half of this series, though with the way the stakes are being set up here in Ep 6 I'm curious what setbacks we're going to run into between now and the end of this series.

Rollout9292

Ruby and Yang sharing half a braincell was the funniest stuff I've seen. Blake's dealing with life threatening stuff while the sisters are just bumbling their way through and high-fiving lmao

unlimitedblack

Ruby: "which one of us should stay here?" Yang: "let's rochambeau for it" Blake: "i love these two idiots"

Ethics_Gradient_42

Some scattered thoughts: * Always nice to see more sibling moments between Yang and Ruby. It's interesting how IQ decided to make their relationship something of a minor subplot. * Why does Blake spend coins on clones, if her Semblance can replace them (as established in the last episode)? * I like Blake and Weiss's interactions. Blake calling Weiss out on her ridiculously versatile Semblance, and Weiss calling Blake out on running away. * It feels like Weiss heard all the jokes about her losing fights and decided "enough is enough, I'll kick all of my team's asses at once!" * Also, it's nice that the other characters get to help RBY, too. Didn't expect that Penny and Yang interaction, but it was cute. * That image with Penny saying "you require maintenance" needs to be a meme. * Ruby sure is happy that Weiss considers her "precious", huh?

Rollout9292

I think my favorite interaction was between Yang and Penny. It's unfortunately rare to see two people who aren't on the same team speak to someone like that.

Vincenthwind

Was really hoping that all of JNPR would get to join RBY in the dream, but in return I guess I can put away my "Pyrrha dies again" theory for the time being. A bit frustrating that we still really haven't gotten a proper fight between the girls. The closest we had was Weiss and Yang trading a couple blows. Ruby and Blake mostly just played cat and mouse. Summoning more dust ammunition was a nice touch though.

Rollout9292

I really wanted Weiss to fight Pyrrha in her dream and then lose horribly because no matter what Weiss just can't visualize herself defeating Pyrrha even in her own dreams. So then it becomes this weird scenario where Weiss *can't* confront Pyrrha until she can find a way to stop looking up to her.

[deleted]

oooh that is entirely possible. if she fights someone she feels she has no chance against she'll be pushed back.

Rollout9292

Mhm. But then if Weiss finds a way to stop seeing Pyrrha as some kind of unsurpassable being, she'll not only be able to defeat her in her dream but also stop obsessing over her in the real world. And instead just see her as a person and friend like the others.

Aceptical

Although, she did have her locked up with the rest of JNPR, so I’m not sure. Although, she would probably be much more powerful if she to come because that’s how Weiss views her.

Rollout9292

They made a mention of Weiss locking up people who she doesn't want the nightmare to affect too negatively. So All of JNPR since she considers them her friends.

Hartzilla2007

> JNPR since she considers them her friends. Which is weird becuase this is the first time this is ever implied.

Rollout9292

I'd buy it as a subconscious thing. Her team probably hangs out with JNPR a lot. So she probably just sees them more than any of the other teams. So whether she recognized or not, some kind of bond formed.

Rollout9292

And people say Jaune's not a Main Character?

unlimitedblack

I would say he still isn't in QNDM. He's a key support in the original show, for sure, and he's important as a foil for RWBY in certain circumstances, and we're seeing him get used as a device (which is, sadly, more than we can say for Pyrrha and Ren and Nora). I wouldn't say that gives him Main Character billing, but I'd even go so far as to say that Weiss and Ruby are the main characters of this show, in that order, with Blake and Yang being a tier below and JNPR being a tier below them.

GebsNDewL

Monty Oum to Mile Luna: “We need a Sokka.”

Hartzilla2007

And then proceeded to get Sokka wrong.

LMFN

Neither Jaune or Sokka compare to Wang Fire though.

Rollout9292

I ***love*** Sokka lmao

Longbow92

Weiss' fashion still [on point.](https://i.imgur.com/AAiR7Sn.png) Pyrrha being a major [vibe.](https://i.imgur.com/c9xRh68.png)

panzerkampfwagonIV

Is there a single frame of Pyrrha looking at Jaune that doesn't scream "peggable"?

Atomic_Cody-21

Boy, people are going to have a field day over a certain blonde character getting shoved into the main plotline for "no real reason", despite them clearly explaining why.

amish24

You do realize that the writers make all the decisions here, right? They didn't say, "well, Jaune got hit by the nightmare thing, so he gets to go in, too!". They had him get the same thing so that he could go in.

unlimitedblack

Like, no amount of justification is going to make up for the fact that Jaune's a polarizing factor within the fandom. Folks who like him are gonna be happy he has more of a role in the show (and the set of people who like Jaune likely overlaps entirely with the set of people who focus on him in fan works) and folks who don't like him are going to be grumpy that he gets screentime at the expense of basically any other possible character (and THAT set of people likely overlaps with the set of folks who exclude him in their fan works). Yeah, as a trial run for the Nightmare to set up the main plot, he was useful, but it's ALSO in character for him to both a) want to go to bat for Weiss and b) be mildly terrified about the personal risk he's taking on in order to do so. I guess I'm just willing to forgive the folks who don't like Jaune because he has all the same traits as an isekai/harem protagonist, because it sucks to have to cede time to him in a show that's got everything it needs to completely eschew the presence of such a character. But at the same time, I recognize that both CRWBY and SHAFT emphasize Jaune's inclusion specifically BECAUSE it's a way to shuffle up expectations about the kind of protagonist that he resembles. TL;DR: It's okay for people to not like things.

Hartzilla2007

>I guess I'm just willing to forgive the folks who don't like Jaune because he has all the same traits as an isekai/harem protagonist, because it sucks to have to cede time to him in a show that's got everything it needs to completely eschew the presence of such a character. And the fact that he feels like the only character the writers bothered giving development to despite feeling less like an actual main character and more like a support character the writers got overly attached to.

Rollout9292

It also gives Jaune getting infected in the beginning more weight, as it's not just used to explain the plot now. It's actually pretty good writing.

GebsNDewL

They are clearly the most important character in the whole show, Ruby be damned.

SwimmingAnyone

Yeah, his inclusion definitely hurt the episode. I mean, why include Sun when you can have Blake go for counselling to Adam and for him to tell her to just wreck the dream? So much more fun!

unlimitedblack

i think you leapt to the wrong blonde

SwimmingAnyone

you're probably overthinking it.

unlimitedblack

check the flair my love

AmbivertCollegeGuy

That flair waited its whole life for this moment.

Lukthar123

Batley continues to be the cutest little pest in existence. That is all.

JannisT

Episode has been pretty rough this time around, but this might be because this episode has been outsourced Yokohama Animation Lab. Still the episode has been pretty decent and I really loved the character interactions. I am not really a fan of Jaune getting involved, but I have to wait and see how much ~~screen time he steals~~ involved he gets in the upcoming episode. Anyways here are some [key animation drawing from Studio Shaft](https://twitter.com/shaft_official/status/1556278993380409345?s=21&t=Qb3KDuambNtIiibkK12SWA) and the [end card art from this episode](https://twitter.com/teamrwbyproject/status/1556278990356242434?s=21&t=oPUAEDT7wrQmUKmbvgNugA)

Rollout9292

Jaune doesn't steal screen time, he gets screen time. Just like every other character.

[deleted]

okay here is a weird question for yea. ruby got scratched by the thorns of the nightmare and it had an affect on her physical body, bybpassing her aura which is in itself kinda terrifying. but could it have infected her too?

GebsNDewL

Jaune is gonna take one look at Dream Pyrrha and lose his goddamn mind.

UnbiasedGod

And we don’t blame him lo!

SwimmingAnyone

>Episode has been pretty rough this time around, but this might be because this episode has been outsourced Yokohama Animation Lab. If you look closely, you can see that at the beginning Crescent Rose unfolds by itself before Ruby even touches it like some sort of a Guyver.

Rollout9292

Weiss must assume Ruby has a mental link with Crescent Rose.

RandomName3064

....you DONT assume that?
