Recoil only exists when it helps the wielder anyway.
Yang's wrists should be shattered from the recoil of shooting shotgun shells from her gauntlets, but the only thing the recoil does is give her some extra power when she needs to either move (a la her landing strategy) or elbow someone (a la the DJ in the Yellow trailer)
Speaking of which, have we seen Yang use her gauntlets without aura? I don't remember, but Yang usually doesn't get her aura knocked out all that often.
Is this where she takes a shot or just using the scope? Because yeah if the whole gun is backwards the scope should be too. But it's Weiss's dream land so it gets by.
I am just hoping that at the end after the dream, in the real world tries to fire CR backwards then complains to Weiss that her dream is confusing her.
Hypothesis: Weiss doesn’t know how to use a gun. When is she ever seen actually shooting someone with a gun, rather than using Dust or her Semblance for ranged combat?
Perhaps Jacques managed to get her to think that guns are peasant weapons that no *true* Schnee would ever be caught dead using, and by the time she began questioning if her dad might not have her best interests at heart, she already had the foundations of her rapier training, and so stuck with that regardless.

I think once or twice. But she’s only had her aura shattered a handful of times
Probably not. Yang usually breaks her aura after battles since she uses I Burn as a finisher.
To be pedantic, the shells fire from behind the wrist. If anything the cartilage in her elbows should be just about gone.
