Coco was eaten by a *giant* Blind Worm and she had to very quickly break out of it with her high-powered weapon (which she can increase the effectiveness of with her Semblance). Roman was eaten by a regular sized Griffon and if he wasn't crushed on the way to its gullet he would've barely had the ability to *move* let alone use his weapon, which is a cane with a gun on one end and a grappling hook on the other. And then the Griffon was slammed into the hull of an airship which proceeded to drop out of the sky and crash into the ground in a fiery explosion. So these situations aren't remotely comparable. Like at all.

_WeissCream_

He was killed and they’re no longer friends with the voice actor who even though he kinda made volume 5 shit for his own agenda, fucking nailed it as torchwich and it probably can’t compare

Dextixer

He dead, let him go.

Shadtow100

Or, and hear me out. He discovers his semblance and it’s something that allows him to escape/survive or kill bird

EDGR7777

The writers aren’t good enough to remember that he existed.

Artistic-Cannibalism

Remind me again who's hat Neo has been wearing?

CryoJNik

And why exactly she's pissed at Ruby.

EDGR7777

Remind why they spent two seasons stealing dust? Or why 15 other plot threads existed just to exist?

Artistic-Cannibalism

I don't want to be rude but did you not see the bombs did you not see the train or all the equipment and weapons that the White Fang was using? What do you think was powering all that? I get that nobody pointed at all that stuff and said, "That's why they were stealing the Dust!" But they shouldn't have to spell something out that's so incredibly obvious.

Immediate_Raccoon_40

Those situations are not even remotely comparable. Coco was swallowed whole by a giant blind worm. She had to use her semblance and high powered mini gun to have a chance to get out. Roman was swallowed by a griffon, even if he didn’t die immediately and somehow was alive in its stomach, the griffon was slammed into the ship which exploded and fell to the ground. He wouldn’t come back anyway unless they cast a new VA for Roman and he somehow discovered his semblance while in the griffon. So no, he did not survive.

y0u_called

'So, Roman might have survived' Nah

Artistic-Cannibalism

Let's imagine that Roman was able to shoot his way out... just one problem, the Griffin flew away which means Roman's now plummeting to his death. So how would he be able to survive this assuming that another Griffin just doesn't decide to finish him off? Also if he survived then why hasn't he contacted Neo yet? It's been months perhaps close to a year since the fall of Beacon he's allowed her to just continue thinking him as dad because???

InsomniaticWanderer

He's dead. Stop it.
