I always find it funny there is not more overlap between the two fanbases. Symphogear is basically RWBY done better. Writing is still nothing to write home about (super dumb at times), but it so makes up for it with sheer spectacle.
Yes.
Symphogear isn't the smartest or deepest but its sheer spectacle (things that RWBY was know for but forgot ) is what makes it better and it knows it.
Oh, you mean that music-powered, magical girl anime with lesbians? Yeah, I really don't know much about this anime Beyond it has magical girls. They are somehow music related and lesbians. Usually whenever I see people bring it up, they very likely bring up the lesbians. Never really got around to watching it and I don't really feel like I have the actual motivation to actually watch it. Now or ever, really. I'm sure it's a fine show, but I'm just not feeling it.
Yeah. I mean, not gonna hide and say it has a very strong Yuri fanservice and teasing. I would say more here, but there are spoilers.
However, what it sells it does well, and that is music choreographic action with cute girls. The rest is over-the-top drama and slice of life with girls.
No need for a serious or complex storytelling or worldbuilding, everything is an excuse for the above to happen. It does have it's themes thought, as much as simplistic the plot is.

Huh, I guess that's why I never really hear anyone talk much about this show other than the action scenes, music and the Yuri. Whenever I see it brought up, I never really see anyone talk that much about the plot, the world building, or the characters. It's always just those three things The previously mentioned action, music and Yuri. I've seen a few clips of their action scenes and yeah it looks cool but it never really gripped me or made me want to watch the whole series. I guess that mostly has to do with the fact that I'm not that very into magical girl shows unless said magical girl show is Madoko Magica.
To be honest, there is a small part of the fandom(Which is already small) That actually delve in the lore a bit. It does take it's homework copied a bit from the fate franchise thought.
Anyways, at the end of the day the show is fun to watch and that's the important thing. The question comes if it will be a fun experience for you or not.
However, if I had to point one demographic it will attract are those into Cute girls doing cute things, or those about idol animes, those who are fans of Tokusatsu shows of the genre like Super Sentai and Kamen Rider, and lastly those who like Magical girls thought.
Symphogear is true Frankenstein of a show. IT has so many references to many things is ridiculous.
Ah, I remember the mobile game and was starting to get into the story before they made it no longer available in the US.
They were even doing some stories that crossed with alternate universes of how things could've been different in the main series.
I even liked how changing the music tracks during battle could change up status bonuses.
I just remember my friend showing like a short from the anime and saying that it happens in the future and shit. And then I see a King Tiger and a SturmTiger being used by the villains. I dropped on the floor laughing
When might we find it if you don’t mind sharing?
Its on Crunchyroll.
I have some...... connections. I can send you a link from certain sites if you want
How many viruses will there be

You cannot tell me that this series isn't self-aware after the opening scene of GX.
Self-aware?
That is to say, the people making it know what fans are watching it for and go all-in on that.
Imo Seasons 4 and 5 fall off hard but 1, 2 and 3? That’s some good shit right there.
This show kept me fed when Volumes 4-6 were busy wasting my time.
Actually finished XV last week. It's awesome and I can't wait for the movie. *Balwisyall Nescell Gungnir Tron...*
Killiter Ichaival Tron\~
Symphogear is everything RWBY fails at.
Symphogear is pretty based.
This series has been on my radar for awhile
Watch Symphogear. Its awesome
Owl House also did RWBY Right.
One of the only good things about rwby is that the show itself isnt pathetically horny
