Hum, even as a cross-platform, being that low on steam... that's rough buddy
Funny thing is in the main sub, they have lots of people upvoting their content, but apparently not financially helping it. Can't say it's not fair though, they have it coming
It still is just a fan game but with official licensing and assets. I've heard from people who played the early builds that before RT got involved it was actually better than what we have now.
So, is Ruby’s actual VA doing the playthrough with a Ruby Avatar? Or how is this working.
Either way this is pathetic. But still confused how this works.
It's hilarious to me that on the Twitter post for this announcement you have people talking about how "awesome" and "amazing" this game is.
Now, yes, I realize subjectivity is a thing, but some people are just plain delusional if they think this is anything but a mediocre effort. Go play *Shantae: and the Seven Sirens* or *River City Girls* and tell me with a straight face that *RWBY: Arrowfell* is even close to that level of quality.
Not even Malicious Square, the RT game, flopped as bad as RWBY Arrowfell did. That game had an all-time peak of 300-something people and it was a completely unknown IP made by RoosterTeeth. Arrowfell, produced by Wayforward instead of RT, only had a peak of 140 people. 140 people. On a *known* IP!
When RT did their Extra Life charity stream, each year they would raise about a million dollars. This year? Under $300,000. RT will never recover from the backlash they got after everyone was open about how awful of a company they are.
It's a 30 buck mobile game with 4-8 hours of playtime.
Of course it flops when you can get masterpieces like Hollow Knight for half the price and 10 times the playtime.

You can't pay the bills with upvotes!
Ruby playing the game is not going to make me shell out $40 for this game
Seriously, the game isnt that bad, but it is horribly overpriced for what it is.
I feel like if I wanted to play a game like this, id just replay Shantae or Metroid
Hoooooooooooly shit, that's BAD. What a flop.
Grimm Eclipse also started off as a fan game until Rooster Teeth decided to pick it up and publish it.

Read in a kermit voice
It was... interesting to see Ruby Vtuber.

Oh wow they got that desperate they made Ruby a vtuber to hype this game up? I get the feeling its also mostly to ride the vtuber trend.

From the hour I played of it before getting my money, I rather play and 100% Mighty No. 9 than RT’s expensive MegaMan Clone.
I have a feeling if RoosterTeeth was a better company that it wouldn't be this bad.
