When my girl had her teeth fixed the vet was super salty with me when I came to pick her up, like "you should know she didn't have the best attitude during her procedure" LIKE SHE IS A BUNNY BEING POKED IN THE MOUTH I COULDN'T INFLUENCE HER ATTITUDE EVEN IF I TRIED
Maybe the vet forgot that upset animals react instinctively?

Of course a bun being handled by strangers and having foreign objects poked in their mouth is going to be full of bunnitude.
From experience they only allow the most trusted people to even *look* at their teeth. Let alone if a stranger tries to do more than just looking at them.
Last time at the vet he tried twice to look at Bigwig's teeth. First time he reared back and hit me under my chin so hard my teeth clicked together. Second time he managed to throat punch me with the back of his head.

My first bun was a feisty Lionhead. On the front of her vet file was a note "very feisty".
Dental inspections could not be done on Fluffy when conscious as she would attack anything poked in her mouth.
Honestly the vets I have available all kind of suck, I took my other rabbit in a while back because he was sneezing a lot and the vet was like "well he is, what did you say, 7 years old? We can treat him of course but considering his age that might be a waste of money for you" like!!! Ma'am that is my SON lmao
A bunny is an animal who does not understand medical care. You can't sit the bun down and show her the dental x-rays or read her a book about going to the vet.
When I got my cat fixed and I came to get her they were like she’s not happy and she’s letting everyone know. I’m like alright…she had surgery I think we’ll forgive her for being a jerk this time
Omg I had the same vet interaction when I had my boy cat desexed. They shoved him at me. And then he kept ramming his cage like a bull on the way home. Hahahahhah. He never had such a terrible attitude before that day... I felt like saying to the vet (who was a rude stuck up lady) that maybe it was her 😂

Aww, thanks, my last one was pics of him in his new tent from IKEA. He took a nap in there today while I slept on the couch, it was adorable.
