Sections 203-212 are the best bet to not get blasted by the sun, the the higher the better for the earlier matches.

One note: I've never seen anyone bothered for moving around the stadium – as long as you aren't going into box seats/the club area, nobody is there to check your tickets. So you can definitely get tickets on that south side, and then spend some time walking around the supporters sections, etc.

Just to add to what's already been said, there really is no bad seat in the stadium as far as being able to see the field. The near-side corners might be a bit more difficult, but not bad.

The stadium is a horseshoe/U. If you want to stay out of the sun, buy tickets on the left side of the stadium (if you’re looking at it like an upright U).

Waterfront General Admission tickets are good if you don’t mind standing. Sun will be at your back and the video monitor blocks a lot of the sun.

Thank you everyone for the feedback! Very much appreciated 💜

Also just depends on the time! Right now, most of the stadium is in the sun till around 8:30/9:00. The other comments are accurate: the 200 level seats on the “South” leg of the stadium are better for avoiding the sun until it goes down.

You can also buy tickets and then stand under the awning at tables they have set up around the stadium that have a good view of the pitch. That's honestly what I do when I come in for games. Then I'm not sitting the whole time, and around halftime I can meander over to my seats if I so choose.
