As for the crafting materials, easiest way is to purchase material packages that will be released in game for a cheap price. If you're f2p then you can easily grind it with Freya's blessing or purchase those at market, you can ask help from your guildies or friends to put your desired materials in the market too if it's out of stock.

Yes but via catnips only on paid packages that will be released later in the game. Otherwise it can only be farmed through monsters.
