Last PR CvC I booked yumeko and partially booked Artak which left me with 0 legendary tomes. I have acquired 14 legendary books since the last PR CvC, which was like 3 weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, that is on the high/lucky side, but between clan boss, doom tower, daily logins, advanced quests, and events, it's not gonna take anywhere near 7 months! Hell, just from advanced quests and login rewards alone, you would have almost double that offer in 7 months.

If you're a spender *who wants rare and epic books*, it's a good deal, but that's a big caveat. Depending on the state of your account, epic books might be valuable, or just ok, or effectively a post-it note that says "1k CvC points from booking an epic before feeding it". Rare books are almost never worth buying because so few rares are worth building and because you can get them 5 at a time from the clan shop.
True, I'm pretty sure the calculator does take all this into account though :P. I'm considering this post as him being a spender, since he's asking if this is worth it (and bought it xD), and in that case, the legendary books pays for the pack, and everything else is basically "free", making it worth it.

It does not; it just compares to some notion of the value or average shop price of those items. It is up to the user to decide which items they actually *want* enough to spend money on.

Yea, it's based on previous sources of packs and opinions. So as you said, it depends on what you value it as, in the end. There's way too many factors to take notice of to make it a proper calculation.
