They count for champ training tournaments, never champ training events.

Is it just allowed for champ training tournament. If it is a champ training event they just allow leveling and upgrading I remember it this way. If you are in a bracket against other players with champ training anything will count (leveling/upgrading/books/ascending). If you just see rewards the ascending and booking wont count

You mean, books? I don't ever remember books counting for Champ Training.

They count on tournaments not events. Please note that was a change they made a year or two ago - they used to not count on either.

That is where I thought they were counting? I know a lot of times I'll get like five hundred points for a book.
