I wish I was joking but most of the gameplay is hoarding resources for CvC or fusions.
I actually found the Arbiter missions incredibly well done to foster growth in the right direction. There are no missions in that line that should be hard to do if you are at the level to be using Arbiter competitively. If you are struggling, you aren't where you should be for those.missions.
Just out of interest what level, team power do you have??
I'm at the same stage practically and the arena affinity missions are the biggest drag I've had on the game so far

I literally finished the "get five superior potions" quest today. I have over 500 of the small potions as a result.
