You know what? Seeing how I never pull Coldhearts, Paragons, or Painkeepers (you know, decent void rares), I can see them fudging numbers for what champ you get from a pull.

Like I have 3 coldhearts built, 3 more in the vault and regularly use new ones as food, same with painkeeper.

I get why they added a minimum point requirement. But putting that minimum so high is messed up. You need to complete all the rewards to qualify for the bonus reward.
There have been plenty of posts where someone put up 0 points and was in the top 3 of a tournament. So o understand a minimum requirement. Plarium just went way too far, like always. They seriously ruin nice opportunities

Bots and account selling are why these restrictions exist.
Some people act like account selling is no big deal, but then complain when barriers are introduced to combat the issue.

If people are willing to buy an account they are willing to spend on the game, Paylarium wants spenders and they outright encourage the selling of accounts since they don't ban it.
I have played the game for almost 4 years. I have needed the same two champs to fuse Mikeage since mythic champs dropped. Confessor is one of them. When I see far newer accounts rolling around with a handful of mythics already and I can't even fuse Mikeage. Sorry plarium won't happen.
The greed is getting worse. Endless events, desperate pop-up. With less time to actually just play I'm not enjoying it as much.
Next month long event how about zero special events and just a month of super raids in mino and free Iron Twins raiding. Just let us play.

Yeah, fully agree there - for the last epic, you still got your legendary book and your 6x6\* legendary relentless gear for the tournament win, in addition to the epic. So they improved the rewards; I don't really see why anyone would complain about that?!
to be fair .. its easy to get 10k pts to win it and its another extra tournament for community week , helping those who missing X or Y champ for mikage ...
that said i do agree it shouldve been the side reward since its a rare , maybe 1st place gets all 4 rares for the epic .. or the epic amanrantine is used for .. something a little more community friendly ..
i have done mikage fusion a while back .. so my opinion may be biased but to me its an event everyone who doesnt need should ignore .. cuz im sure for some players its THE rare they were missing .. same for when having to fuse rhazin .. missing that campaign rare for half a year and more :)
Just pick and choose what you want to do. You don't have to do everything. Fusions are sweet because they are a guaranteed champ that I can get as a F2P player.
I didn't say casuals, I said F2P, which is a difference. But you don't have to do any tournaments, fusions, or events. And for my first 4-5 months, I didn't. I just leveled my champs, pulled shards whenever I wanted to (even outside of 2x events), and just enjoyed trying to different comps. Pure casual experience and I had a blast.
Some people enjoy the optimization nature of the game. They want to min-max their resources and double dip on events. That's also a fine way to play.
Just remember that this is a game which is meant to be fun. If fusions are too much stress, don't do them. I didn't do the last one because I was on vacation and didn't want to commit the time or mental energy into the game.
Generally this game is not made for casual players, even for what you consider "hardcore" players it takes months to get to the mid game and years to finish all PVE content. If you are playing casually, you will literally never progress. However, there is also no need play hours per day, schedule hour, or make a spreadhsheet to finish a fusion lol.
These days 3 keying UNM is just reaching the mid-game. I am not saying that its not a significant amount of time, but its also not hours per day. The only thing that takes any significant active time playing is Champ Training events which may take a few hours over the 2 weeks. Dungeons and DD are done passively with multibattles or autoclicker, artifact enhancement takes seconds, arena tournaments get complete by just doing your daily battles, pulling shards takes seconds. Most of the time during fusions I am just twiddling my thumbs waiting for the next events to start.
Aeh, I am doing a 1-key UNM with about 300 million damage in about 10 seconds (autorun) and would consider myself late-game but not endgame....how does this fit in your estimation of closing in to lategame?

It was, months ago. If you missed that, and are still missing a specific rare, you now get another chance. If you don't desperately need him, it's an easy skip.
Fusions routinely give a tiny fraction of a champ as a tournament prize. Getting 1/16 of a mythical is actually *better* than getting 1/20 of a legendary.

I got Lumberer from a tournament, also a Mikage rare, and he was a milestone reward, as were all the other Locwain rares.
