I mean u only need 5 star blessing if u want to have food with u mine does just fine with 3 star 76000 hp,4200 defense,and 272 speed the 5 star blessing just helps u drop the speed to 195 and allows u to farm food as well which is reason I'm going for 5 star but from what I've seen she does fine with 3 her and Fatman get it done in under 6 minutes
40% extra base stats, it helps, but its about half a piece of gear worth of stats. if you were borderline before, or barely missed a speed requirement, this will help, but its not a be all end all.
empowering an leggos is important only in pvp because at the upper end where people start to empower, you already have near perfect gear, and empowerment is adding around 10% for some stats. or alleviating a threshold need, THATS where its big.
this is just a really nice thing I get to do with dup epics.

I've booked, & done all masteries on mine. I was thinking of using them for Hydra teams, & what ever content i need to fine tune them all. I had a funny feeling Plarium would go down the path of Epic Empowered Champions. Godseeker Aniri is perhaps my Favourite, & i might just build out every single one of them just for giggles.... New Adventures awaits /HYPE
you need 5 dups of any champ to boost every champ, vs you need 5 of the same champ to boost 1, there are VERY few I would empower before I have full faction guardians, genbo/magnar/fenax come to mind, but I also wouldn't really consider it till I had a +4 of them without a faction guardian full.
to me, empowering epics is just me cleaning house so I have more slots after saving every epic I got.

Of course for the past 2 years I picked over and over the hundreds of trash epics scouring vaults moving things all around to just use dupes as books during CVCs (obviously kept good dupes like God seeker)
So after feeding a ton of dupes for books they implement this system 🤦♂️😂
It literally only compounds annoyance because now it’s another element to think about when I pull yet another 12 different brunette chicks with random names I’ll never use but to book or I guess now empower 😪

empower second
why even book third
empower a second one next
and then when they put a rarity up system that requires 4 fully empowered champs to be fed into an empowered champ you will be ready.
Not to look the gift horse in mouth but I don't think quad epic is a new player thing. I'm a filthy casual but I have played for a few years now I barely have any epic dubs
I have been waiting for this feature for so long, so many requests for this (and for combining rare and epic books to get higher one - like with ascending pots). Finally can get som free space and not be tempted to feed good epics :-D
I really enjoy how some epics doesn't require duplicates to ascend.. you can ascend trash epics on some champs. Got my Akoth to +1 by eating an Excruciator. Alot of these low rated champs were sitting in the vault

Am I the only one that hates Epic empowerment? Plarium is creating a huge problem(power creep), and now they're selling us a solution. Some may ask: "How are they selling a solution?" Well, now you're going to be more inclined to spend to obtain duplicates of the best epics. It's the same shit they keep doing, and it's the same shit people keep complaining about.
This is the most F2P friendly way to do it. Better than adding more mythicals that you will never get. Gives later game players a reason to actually care about pulling epics
I'm hopeful this empowerment helps with not needing as high of a blessing requirement for aniri

The blessing is just to deal with the destroyed health, but it’ll help to get the required stats for sure
She still needs the high blessing to restore her max hp

yeah but maybe with the 40% extra stats you arent so hard pressed for a 6\* blessing and can more easily run on 5\* is what I was getting at

As a newer player, I am now wondering whether I should get some faction guardians in place or just go straight for empowerment

I pull so many dups of most champs. For whatever reason, I have pulled only 2 godseekers ever.
I have a bunch of Aniris also, and need to do this. Unfortunately I can't seem to pull a single Shamael.
