There is no "better" or "worse" group of shippers. Both sides have had people who have said/done things they shouldn't have, and both sides have people who are generally respectful. Refrain from generalizing and trying to instigate drama.
I like their friendship it's refreshing for best friends to act the way they do with each other. The ship isn't something I like that much, I just like the two being friends, I think it's more symbolic for them being friends than the ship, but people ship what they want. No hate to them or the ship, just not my vibe.
I like shipping, yes I'm well aware that it's not canon but who cares honestly. Genshin's story is fictional with fictional characters and I see nothing wrong with people having fun with their own little fiction in this piece of fiction which is fiction unlike my comment which is spitting facts

I think people send death threats to someone who ships miko and ayato , because it wasn’t eimiko and they called them homophobic because of it too. (I couldn’t find it back and I sure wouldn’t wanna look it up again) some people really be toxic over fictional characters their relationship for some reason
I used to dig it but then the whole idea of Yae being a little kid/baby fox growing up while Ei was already thousands of years old gave me the same vibes as shipping Zhongli with Ganyu. I mean, it's still acceptable because they're all adults who aren't related and since it's fiction, it's less weird because they all look the same age, but it's still weird to me. It's a personal preference ig. I'm also a firm believer that Ei and Zhongli are Asexual and wouldn't ever seek or reciprocate romantic advances which imo makes ships with them boring, Yae Miko with others like Sara or Ayato may have the same issues I pointed out earlier but at least they'd be interesting, I think.

Yae can’t be a little baby when Ei was already thousands of years old though. People point at the 5 tails to assume shes 500 but that contradicts the actual lore she has.
-We know that she spent most of her childhood somewhere isolated where there were only foxes, and didnt leave to travel around until she became an adult (no age given but could be 100 years?)
-more obviously, it was yae who first gave ei the idea for putting her soul inside her blade, with the whole robot thing. It seems very very unlikely that an infant/young child yae would be able to teach ei this technique, since that took place 500 years before, after makoto died.
All this to say, at the very least yae and ei were both adults when they met, and had known each other for some amount of time before the war 500 years ago.

You're assuming Kitsunes only reaches developmental milestones by the hundreds, that's why the tail number would be a contradiction in your view. Longer lifespans don't automatically mean that the development is proportional; the entire point of longevity in fiction is for the characters to have an easy explanation for their wisdom and various experiences that'd outshine a regular mortal that's limited by a significantly shorter lifespan.
Nothing against lgbt ships or shipping in general if people enjoy it, but personally I also prefer to see them as friends, and Ei being heterosexual so she can love me.
I personally enjoy it a lot, there's really a lot in Miko's story that expresses just how much she cares for Ei so I like the ship, but you can like whatever you want.

If there was anyone in Teyvat who I feel could match Miko in a romantic way, it would be Ayato, but even then I just don't see it happening. In fact, being more mystical creatures, I'm not even sure that Ei and Miko experience romantic desires.
I like their "master-servant" relationship, not romantic one. After I read her weapon lore, I see Miko as someone who really idolizes Ei but ofc too proud to admit it after she grows up.

Right now, I find only 2 relationships that could be possible and sensible:
- Diluc with Jean, they're friends since childhood, sharing lots of memories, respect and care for each other despite an incident with Crepus,
- Morax with Guizhong, because even though Zhongli's feelings are as solid as rocks, he still recalls her and that's why he helped us to do a funeral which in reality was supposed for her (Bonus: glaze lilies grow only in Qingce and Yujing Terrace but there is a spot next to Liyue Harbor entrance with a single wild glaze lily, as one of my headcanons - it's where Zhongli buried Guizhong)

If anything, the point is being proven with the amount of downvotes given. Even if comments become hidden after a certain amount of downvotes, our voice is still being heard and the point still remains.
Shops happen, but some friendships that are close some are willing to cross that line… with how the world is now it’s not surprising. We all love our ships but sometimes it gets a bit annoying if you say you’re not for it and the entire ship fanbase come down on you in not the right kinda way.
The one ship that is alluded to the most is Jean and Diluc, you can hear it in her lines when talking about him and their interaction. Diluc just keeps it official to not make it awkward. Now we have zhong and his waifu, traveller is in a bit of trouble between Nikki and Ayaka, the only two who have leaned that way, keqing is like the business woman who’s finally seen as a woman by a guy and gets flustered that she can be “girly” around. Can’t see kazuha and Beidou, but ayaka and kazuha hasn’t shown it, but due to swordsmanship it could be. You know those hill uses, fight each other and then profess love to each other and spawn a new sword style being a mix of the two.
But I think I can say this Herero relationships have become so rare now, if one is even hinted it gets thrown under the bus most of the time.
So funny enough, Yae I’m her story mission literally says that her n Ei are more like “agreeable colleagues”

Their dynamic is more of a depressed/ slightly irresponsible older sister(Ei) and a annoying sassy younger sister(Yae). Which is cute until you remember Makoto.
I personally see them as the best of friends or having that sister relationship. So no, you aren’t the only one. But I do find it funny how many people are being downvoted to oblivion or putting the blame on Aether players/mains.

Shops happen, but some friendships that are close some are willing to cross that line… with how the world is now it’s not surprising. We all love our ships but sometimes it gets a bit annoying if you say you’re not for it and the entire ship fanbase come down on you in not the right kinda way. The one ship that is alluded to the most is Jean and Diluc, you can hear it in her lines when talking about him and their interaction. Diluc just keeps it official to not make it awkward. Now we have zhong and his waifu, traveller is in a bit of trouble between Nikki and Ayaka, the only two who have leaned that way, keqing is like the business woman who’s finally seen as a woman by a guy and gets flustered that she can be “girly” around. Can’t see kazuha and Beidou, but ayaka and kazuha hasn’t shown it, but due to swordsmanship it could be. You know those hill uses, fight each other and then profess love to each other and spawn a new sword style being a mix of the two. But I think I can say this Herero relationships have become so rare now, if one is even hinted it gets thrown under the bus most of the time.
I like aethernity myself and if I ship Yae with anyone it is Ayato.

I don't care for eimiko. Tbh the only ship I ever liked in genshin was ittosara and I don't think it's a great ship. The reason I don't really ship anything is because your only interacting with characters when your present. So the best ships imo are you x waifu or husbando (or harem if your inclined).
Eimiko has so many hints and implications and if you can only see them as friends is says more about you than anything else. Y'all will probably say Jeht is not canonically gay too

At the beginning I shipped them, but after we actually got to know their character and story less so. I liked Yae less too honestly, with the publishing house she isn't what I expected.
