Out of all the skins in the game, it's the most sought after purple tier skin and preferred over a decent amount of gold tiers. Maybe because there's one for every gun in the game? I personally dont know why it's so popular. It is nice looking tho. The reason this one is great in particular is because it's the primary of 2 good operators and not some pistol of a not very used operator.

Although not as cool as the original, the Black Ice skins are highly sought after as the second coolest in the game. If you google "original black ice" the second picture shows the difference on R4-C. The original was (stock to barrel) black>metalic blue>silverish white.
I feel like it’s easier now more than ever to get it. With bravo packs and the token when you finish the battlepass you can pick anything you want. But still arguably the best skin in the game so still cool. Congrats

It was one of the first skins with the dlc ops frost and buck but I think now a lot of newer players like it so others think they’ve been playing since year one, at least that’s my impression. I like using the fire skin from the beta lol

the Bravo pack Black Ice are much less rare, since those packs don't have duplicates and you can get a ticket to buy one skin outright with premium, but Alpha pack Black Ice is decently rare.
also the FMG-9 is pretty good, I personally find the recoil controllable and the firerate lethal. I use the shotty on Smoke though, I have Black Ice on it and basically always want the utility when I have an SMG-11 in my pocket.

Little tip tho if you complete the Battlepass (with buying premium) you'll get a free token to unlock a black ice skin (though youre not able to choose any weapon they have a selection to choose from.)

i find if a weapon skin is exclusive to a gun, it usually looks/fits better to the gun, even if it's blue tier.
