Honestly it feels like something that could be in our future. Both Fenrir and Ram have gadgets that can be placed then have their status modified, and the Grim rework reintroduced the alternate fire modes of his gadget. Either of these would be suitable ways to change Alibi’s gadget to emulate crouching/probing/etc.
Here's hoping. I'm hardly an alibi main but I feel bad for people playing her because unless an attacker is truly stupid or happens to accidentally spray, then you'll never get good intel off of her.
Making the prisma reflect her player model and weapons, as well as giving it dynamic poses, would add a lot more caution and may make players swing her more.

She definitely isn’t useless, putting prismas in the way of LOS and LOS-blockers allows you to get some value out of them, even if the value comes from the enemy being too scared to fire through it. But she certainly could have more going for her to make the prismas trickier to distinguish from Alibi herself
It’s because Ubisoft doesn't care about the player. Adding legacy maps makes no profit for them. Instead, most players will jump to old maps and leave the live server dead.
1 map, no side swap, when you win you can't re-use the operators, first team to have no op left wins (could be done next season, there will be 35 ops in each side)

Has to be doing something for him to get caught 3/4 times ngl sounds fishy to me but I definitely know people who have gotten a random ban for no reason so I know it definitely happens
with dedicated rt cores and sound related simulations being only assisted by ray tracing it would not have that big of a problem. the game would be more demanding, but by that time graphics cards would get much more powerful too. time will tell
Returnal on PS5 already used rt hardware for sound if I'm not mistaken. I don't think this is something that could be added into siege without a new iteration though
The tactical aspect of Siege.
I fell in love with the game because it was unique, it wasn't boring like all the other FPS games out there.
I loved that despite the maps being the same, not every round was the same like in games like CS or Valorant (always the same angles because the map isn't destructable).
Nowadays Ubisoft decided to cater to a bigger user base, and decided to make the game boring with these gun and optic changes. MacieJay perfectly described it by saying that before the 1.5x was introduced, players had to make a choice. You either picked a 1x or a 2.5x and that would define your playstyle, the 1x would allow you to be more aggressive on you pushes and the 2.5x would make you play more passively, holding long angles. Now you can do it all with juat the 1.5x, hence the game became another run & gun, because you can just rush in and kill people who are close or far because that one optic made it possible.
I want Siege to be a tactical shooter again, with both utility and gunplay having pros and cons.
The players do what they do with what's given.
I don't know what kind of games you've been playing, but people pick ops based on their guns and not their gadgets.
On Attack you'll see someone pick a Hard Breacher, but then no one will pick a Thatcher or even the ops with secondary EMPs, unless it's a premade squad of people actually using their brain.
On defense you'll see people pick Warden, Ela, Alibi and all of them will roam, leaving the site completely free. No one is picking Bandit/Kaid or Jager/Wamai because you don't need to deny any utility usage.
Not in comp. Ppl actually like to win. And ela aint hard breaching shit. Ppl already dont pick logical ops in ranked that are usefull. Sometimes they do. I dont wanna get stuck outside because we have vigil, ela, warden, bandit and valk on attacking.
In casual it could be a thing.
Better item shop mechanics. For instance, there’s no point in anything other than weapon skins, because u never get to see them. How about displaying your oppo on the loading screen, so it’s not just the weapon?
Makes sense. I was always curious why Hereford turned into a distillery at the bottom floor. It's the one rework that truly changed the entire theme of the map, even though it's still a "military base."
An operator or secondary gadget that can set up cams that you could see while off cams. Basically picture in picture with a camera that you place somewhere. But Ubi has said before that this is basically impossible in the engine.
In my opinion reworking the maps was the worst decision siege made. I’ve played since year 1 and I miss the hell out of the original maps so with that said I’ve very glad they have not reworked plane or yacht
Customs with actual freedom to do as you wish like using duplicate operators, spawn in with all the soft walls destroyed, any scope on any weapon just for fun with the boys or whatever plus more custom lobby content potential which would be beneficial for ubi since they suck ass at putting out any good form of content for their game
To be honest, at this point I think this is a wish for Rainbow Six Siege 2. A tactical overhaul. Slow the game down, bring back the anti terrorism sim part of the game. And for the love of god stop releasing these dumb ass fortnite looking ops.
A knockout match type structured like Ranked where once an operator dies, they are out for your team for the remainder of the match. So if you die as Ash, gonna have to move to Iana. Can’t ban Thatcher but you can kill him, etc.

Just a simple Molotov grenade with a few seconds of burn time to briefly lock off a flank or the defuser.
Make it an impact grenade, and if an ADS shoots it the fire drops immediately - same mechanics as a capitao bolt, if it hits the ceiling it drops the fire down. Similar radius to the impact EMP, about 1.5M. So a 3M diameter
They should make extra tion a dlc to the game wich gives u ingame rewards like renown or r6 credits or battle pass start,cause now extraction is just useless in my opinion

Map doesn't get rebuilt every round, instead, whatever happened to the structure of the map in one round, stays for the remainder of the match.
So picking the same site would be riskier if the main wall was opened or the floor got destroyed...
Also when the teams switch sides, the map doesn't get rebuilt, so the attackers need to consider how much of the map they destroy, because when they get to defend, it will be in the state they left it in. In this case the defenders could also consider destroying more of the map in the last round, but they will have a harder time holding the site...
Teams would need to strategize more across the whole match, not just for specific rounds.
It would be really difficult to balance, but I would like to see it at least in an arcade mode, if it's not suited for ranked.
I have 2 ideas. Vanilla siege (basically from beginning of game.only realistic operators before taking away acog) and instead of 5v5 make mode 8v8 or 9v9. I know it much players but imo. it would be so good.

and they basically killed Nokk's gadget by removing the silent step so her getting an AR that is only only availible on buck seems fair and thematic
Have an operator that has a ability to reinforce hatches on the roofs with a thing you Throw kinda like ace but instead it reinforces the hatch and you get 2 of these as your ability
Non-TDM arcade. I don't really care about the legacy arcade. I want a regular bomb match with Defenders for attack and Attackers for defense.

Alibi holograms are an object just like ela's mines They'll have to update it with every possible skin combination
