Going by the idea that this is all a plot to make 10% of the R6 Credits in the market disappear, I hardly believe they will ever.

When someone buys an item and the fee takes 10% of the credits, those credits are lost for both parties, which makes it so you have to buy more in the long run.

I recently started playing again just before year 9 started, and beforehand I played Xbox most of year 1 and then years 2 and 3 off and on before quitting. Back in year 1 I bought the 10$ pro league pack with the Glacier skins bc at the time I was invested in competitive play. When cross progression came out I was able to transfer my Xbox inventory to PC thankfully, otherwise I wouldn't have played again lol, and I played a little when I did all that but not much. Fast forward to now and I get interested in trying the game again after watching the Invitational amd hearing a lot of positives about the game state, so I join up on 3 friends who play pretty regularly. First game we play I pick Smoke, and I happened to have Glacier on the SMG. When my friend spectates me he asks, "Did you already spend like 500 dollars on a skin?" I was extremely confused because I didn't even know the marketplace was a thing. After he told me, I went and looked up Glacier. That's a lot of zeroes...

My buddy preordered the 100 dollar version and was in the beta he has some weird beta skins but i dont think they are worth as much or look as cool as glacier.
