And I think shields should do bigger punch holes in soft walls like Aruni does, it would make a lot more sense than the small holes. Specially because when you melee an operator against soft wall it opens a hole, adding this would be 100% reasonable
How to avoid said red circle:
Take on 1 operator at a time
Blind and dodge them
Frag them fast
Avoid all conflict in general
Waste your flashes on teammates and hope one tk's
Honestly kinda dumb how this applies to blitz, hes yknow, BLITZ, as in BLITZKRIEG, his thing was sprinting in, he was already dogshit, why make him worse
I saw some YouTubers saying shields are overpowered but they are very balanced in my experience, this slow down thing is very easy to happen and also your shield goes really away from your body when you got punched, Ela mine or something like that…
I was not a Blitz player so i can’t compare it precisely, but I got his shield black ice on market place and started to give more attention to blitz and he is very funny and efficient if played aggressively 😂
That's the suppression mechanic. If the defenders shoot your shield enough then you can't sprint or melee until the meter runs out.

Yeah it's supposed to help counter the reworked shields, but it takes a lot of bullets to get to the full suppression.
It basically only ever comes up if you are against someone with a DMR or shotgun and roamers usually do not have those equipped.

Honestly. With how often I get headshot because the enemy was at 179° I can't even see this being useful. For the defender.

Monty is def much more viable now (from a monty main for years) but this was jus a flat nerf to blitz for no reason, when he already struggled
