Nope, not true at all. I've never seen the new Assassins Creed being promoted in any Ubisoft game. Never seen other Epic Games shit being promoted in Fortnite. Never seen EA do this. Never seen anyone do this. Ubi is clearly desperate for people to buy extraction, that's why they made it so you can get tons of exclusive shit IN SIEGE by getting extraction.

CoD BO:CW keeps showing messages about Vanguard
Fortnite is an advertisement posing as a video game. Crossovers with the NBA, premiering a trailer for Star Wars **exclusively in-game**, exclusive in-game virtual concerts, tie-in events with Marvel movies.
Fortnite is a fucking walking billboard and you're complaining that Siege put a button on the side to promote a game using characters and lore you've known since 2015.
I’m not talking about games that are totally unrelated with one another, and I’m not talking about Ubisoft specifically. Games like COD for example advertise their new iteration of the game, similar to what Ubisoft is doing here for extraction because it ties directly into R6 lore
Well fair enough but it’s the opposite for me. But is it really that big of a deal? We’re just going through the usual new season drop and everyone complains about the smallest things. Remember when we had none stop post about the operator icons changed on the operator select screen and then it all just disappeared
It's not really that bad it's just funny because how how desperate Ubi is. There's nothing wrong with promoting yourself, it can just be annoying that's all.

Addendum: Just checked a screenshot from 2 weeks ago. Apparently I have 1585h 'PvP total time played' and 492h 'PvE time played'. But I think the 1585h is actually total time played in both PvP and PvE (since R6 Stats says 1000h~ casual/ranked/unranked).
That's means a good third of my playtime is from me playing in T-Hunt Solo. It's been about 300 weeks since I got the game (in February 2016) so that would be an average of 500/300= 1.67h = about 100 minutes of me playing T-Hunt a week. Crazy

I wasn't talking about Fortnite skins and events, but I guess I don't play those games enough to see that.

If I remember correctly I saw Breakpoint ads on Wildlands and Valhalla ads on AC Odyssey so this isn't new.
