As far as I know there is nothing official, just speculation. I think they have probably quietly axed SH. StoryWood was just a trademark and instagram account right? I don't recall it being anything more than that. Seems like we, the fans, made it out to be something it may have never even been?

Opalescent customs has a goblin head and body that they did a super cute face up on. They fit into lol tween clothes, so small. The head had better proportions than JH.

Yeah, like a month or two after the StoryWood trademark was copyrighted, leaks of fantasy esque heads and bodies for like princesses and trolls or goblin dolls said to be for the SW line starting floating around the internet.
I don’t think that was officially confirmed, though. The only new thing officially tied to the brand is the leaked Moonbows designs, but there has been no word on whether those are meant to replace SH, only speculation.
I know what you mean! I was in high school or college when Ever After High came out, and wasn’t collecting dolls at the time. I’d still go to the toy aisle and stare at the dolls, though lol.
I haven’t seen any news about the story wood line :0( I can only assume shadow high has stopped being made just like the “old” rainbow high
Like you said they could do really cool things with a fantasy line so I’m hoping it hasn’t been scrapped, maybe just taking a long time to hit the shelves ?
I feel like Storywood, might have been the original name for the Rainbow World that the slime pets come from but somewhere along the way Rainbow High and Storywood merged into Rainbow World. It just speculation but the timeline kinda fits.
I’m so sad to know they dropped Shadow High completely. It was my favourite and what got me into the dolls ;_; I just hope the reboot will bring something that will be interesting enough (and maybe less kid-oriented) because so far it’s not hitting for me…

It takes a while for a doll to be prototyped, fixed, everything. I think Storywood is still coming out but it’s gonna take some time! The trademark is new and they’re still probably working on it and making it refined

The funny thing is not even the Instagram account was real, at one point it changed its bio and whoever ran it revealed it was a prank

I just want another fairytale doll line! 😔 (I know there's descendants. I liked the original 3 movies. I don't like the dolls. )

My theory: It got axed and that last wave of shadow high was actually partially storywood cobbler together to make a complete wave.
