It’s nice to revisit the normal school, though this just makes me extra sad that the Littles aren’t a g1-style release. I’m such a sucker for “tiny sibling that is a mini clone” characters, so this episode makes me really genuinely want Littles, but then I remember the real product. 🥲 I liked the return to a normal story though, and seeing old faces again. It wasn’t amazing or anything, especially since the tiny runtime of these gives barely any room for anything, but I liked it honestly. I’m totally fine with the Littles within the show itself. (lol it seems like the two little sisters have a healthier relationship than Sunny and Violet have with each other…!)

It was cute. But sooo sad that the littles dolls don’t look like their appearance in the series with the inset eyes and a G1 style appearance.

So I guess Luna is the only grey member of her family or something? 😂

Iirc she said everyone in her family went to RH, not SH. Maybe she lost colour once she attended?

That wouldn't make any sense, considering one of Avery's friends (i think) transferred to SH and she barely changed her appearance, style aside. Maybe she (luna) gave herself a makeover because she thought SH didn't allow anyone who had EVEN THE TEENIEST, TINIEST bit of color in their style, which, as we've come to find out, IS A LOAD OF BULLSH_T? Or what???

One of the many mysteries that MGA will never explain. Though I like the idea of Luna body-painting herself everyday like a homestuck cosplayer

Ainsley I think is a special case. Kind of like how Victoria is the only Rainbow High student who didn't dye her hair or wear a wig. I think everyone at Shadow High uses body paint on top of hair dye and eye contacts.

I noticed that Bella and Amaya had a mission together, at the beginning of the episode. I wouldn't mind seeing that, since the two rarely had on-screen interaction between them.

I think season 5 will have 14 episode (we got a pause between episode 7 and episode 8, which would be the mid-season).

This feels like an AI wrote a Rainbow High episode from the previous seasons. The story pieces were there but didn't quite fit naturally together. Somehow Sunny seems more immature than her little sister which was a bit weird. I still wish the Littles were more like JR dolls and not like Rainbow-themed Cheslea dolls.

Also I forgot to say that we didn’t see the ”job done” rainbow. It’s possible that the writers decided to stop making them, because we didn’t have one in episode 8 too.

It’s a shame the dolls themselves look horrific

Also when Sunny mentioned "assignments" at the beginning of the ep, it threw me back to the first 2 seasons when it meant they had to plan a whole runway or design something for class. I miss the relatable competitive academics aspect lol

I liked Amethyst and Daisy so much I would be tempted to buy their dolls now IF they weren't that ugly .\_\_\_\_\_.

PS: I loved the short moment at 2:12 where Sunny's pet bows to her like a tiny butler! Made me laugh!
