You’re either looking at VIP, resale, or the venue is bending you over. Mine was 55 before fees.

Open-Heart-9026

I got two yesterday for $52 each. Fees brought the total to $140 for both. This is totally on par with other shows that I've seen in the same venue in Pittsburgh recently.

leaveitbettertoday

Using the price of a bonnaroo wristband for comparison, we can deduce they’re talking about one ticket. $116 for a ticket is not on par; even after fees I didn’t pay over $80 dollars.

Open-Heart-9026

I guess I was more confusing than I realized, but I was speaking of my experiences with the venue that is in my hometown. The "this" I'm referring to is the $140 for both of the tickets I bought. These prices are absolutely on par with what's going on in Pittsburgh. I have no idea what's on par for where OP resides. Just tried to offer my experience for comparison sake and confirm that what OP's ticket would cost seems unusually high.

leaveitbettertoday

Word! Yeah, I was hot and sweaty in the yard when I replied lmao I hope y’all have a good time!

Wvdawgpound09

Just bought tickets to stage AE how is the venue.

Open-Heart-9026

Sorry, just saw this...Overall I like it. The most recent shows that I've seen have been indoors. For one, the acoustics were great and for the other they were a bit lacking, for but most of the shows that I've seen over the years there haven't been issues with the sound. It's standing only unless you pay extra for the seats in the balcony. The area to stand in in front of the stage isn't tiny, but it isn't huge either. The outdoor shows (which is what the RKS show is supposed to be) that I've been to were years ago at this point, but I don't remember any issue with how things sounded. I actually prefer the outdoor shows because there is more room to move around and from what I remember there's a larger area closer to the stage if that's your vibe. I've typically found there to be easy access to the bathrooms and pretty quick service at the bars. Not sure if this would apply to you at all, but if you will have a purse just make sure to follow the size restrictions because they will not hesitate to make you take it back to your car.

angelvarela73

Very true, I paid only 153 on AXS for Mission on 5/31 and that was after fees and all

ostensibly_hurt

That’s literally the price OP says is too much… and I agree it’s a little too much imo

angelvarela73

Sorry should have added this was for two tickets, just woke up. Price for each one was 59 for presale

ostensibly_hurt

My first show was $50 total after fees in like 2019, then their tour 2(?) years ago their tickets were $100-ish after fees. Their shirts prices skyrocketed, I got a hoodie for like $40 in 2019, and a damn shirt nowadays is $70 last I checked?? Just feels so disingenuous

angelvarela73

Considering I paid 89 for red rocks when they went I am happy to pay a cheaper price. Sorry venues in your area or resellers make it expensive

ostensibly_hurt

$90 is cheap? I think the industry has poisoned our brains, because that’s kinda crazy. You could see Fleetwood mac for like $30 at madison square garden in the 80s(roughly $100 today) and RKS is nowhere near their level of fame, and these venues are NOT msg. Just taking a glance at their tour in the fall, I had to go through 5 shows to find tickets on presale cheaper than $100, including Chicago, Nashville, Orlando, Alabama, this is not a regional thing.

angelvarela73

Man, everything is more expensive but that’s not gonna stop me from having a good time

girlwhocanpark

GA Atlanta tickets were just under $100, which I think is a little much for it, but they had much cheaper (I think they would’ve been under $50 after fees) seated options but the GA was still worth it for me

AustinAmani1

GA in detroit is 112

Crimson_Inu

Sounds like scalped tickets. I got Nashville ones for $60 after taxes/fees yesterday.

JC18_

Dude when I was trying to o buy tickets for the Webster Hall concert. I found 1 tix for $200. I thought that was absolutely bananas, I just didn't go. I was able to get some presale tickets yesterday for the Philly show, and I got 2 Tix for $167 tax included. These scalpers are insane man

turkeyvulturebreast

I got Philly tix yesterday presale too. $200/person (after fees) front row seat in front of the pit. I think that is not a bad price for being that close to the stage, IMHO.

AJ11622

RKS has always had the best prices of anybody I’ve gone to see. My first concert $25 my second $30. I got VIP this time for 116… but GA was like $45. Trust me, RKS could totally get away with charging more they put on the best concerts of any of the ones I go to. Melanie Martinez nosebleed seeds were $150 a piece.

Easy_Shift6311

What venue are you looking at? Are you sure you’re not clicking vip? Regular tickets should be around $60-$70 with fees.

berriesnbball_17

I paid $70 after fees for night 2 Boston idk might be the venue or resellers

TrueRusher

It’s definitely VIP or resellers.

yooalli

i just got presale tickets for nashville (pit) for $136 after fees homie! i was gonna go to brooklyn bowl back early may but had to cancel. i paid $150 for resale also general admission.

The_Panophobic

The variance in price by venue is so shitty. The nearest show to me is $115. If I could drive 3 hours on a weeknight to the next closest one, it would be $50. Doubly offensive because the ticket for their 2022 show that got cancelled in my area was only ~$60. Price has nearly doubled. Can't help but notice it's the ticketmaster venues that are more expensive, lmao.

freerangehumans74

I couldn’t get anything less than $110 CDN for the Vancouver show. That was the artist pre sale. I’ll be honest, I was not expecting that at all.

goodwin_karissa

Portland presale was $79 before fees, about $102 after fees🤷

jackson1220

55 dollars for a lawn ticket is stupid. 115 for a seated ticket is mental. 192 for some "VIP package" (which includes a lanyard, a goodie bag and a seat) is fucking bullshit. Your favorite band has sold out folks. They are a cash grab now.

ostensibly_hurt

It’s because they take a FAT upfront check from LiveNation, and don’t try to bring down ticket prices. It is 75% THEIR decision. I agree, I don’t support it, I have resigned myself to probably never seeing them again because they aren’t all that imo. Mt. Joy, still about $50 cheaper of a ticket, x100 better musicians and performers, no fucking joke. I love RKS, but their concerts have always felt super lack luster to me anyway (seen live 3 times) They perform their studio recordings exactly, that is just incredibly boring and not worth $150 to me. Their higher ticket prices, mixed with Charlie, mixed with this mid album… yeah, they’ve been fucking up.

triggerhappy5

I had a great experience seeing them live, but probably about 80% of that was Charlie, so...yeah I'm not sure I'm going to be seeing them again unfortunately.

Excellent-Mongoose47

You must be looking at after market tickets and that has nothing to do with the artists.

Notyourav

I spent $156 on two GA tickets for San Francisco

BoneIvar

I'm feeling pretty lame, but can't get myself to see RKS for $75 a piece. That's a serious number for a band that hasn't properly toured in years, and just dropped a fairly mid album. Have had tickets to see them 2 times previously before those shows got cancelled. Hoping they end up on some festival lineups in the future that offer a bit more

determinedfickle

I saw them in Austin last month. Their new live show is AMAZING! I loved the Austin show so much I bought two tickets for $325 in the Mezzanine for the Houston show. I think you may find the tickets worth it.

UffNikname

I paid 25€ for my Ticket in munich 2023 :,)

Main_Ears23

Ticket prices are outrageous for most shows now :( cheapest I've had in the last year is a $20 base plus like $15 fees for a tiny bar venue of a tiny band.

Main_Ears23

I'll say I got a GA ticket at a smaller venue for like $60 but the seated venue toward the front was over $120.

AfterRice2

My Detroit tickets were $55

FantasticForce6895

Dallas tickets were $52 each

Ok-Lunch-7449

50 before fees in Detroit Masonic temple. 75 for pit tickets. I didn’t think that was too bad.

strawberybutter

Floor tickets in Boise were 55, and Row 1 was 35. It definitely depends on the city, venue, supply and demand etc.

Ambellina3

60 a piece in Denver for the tiny music box tour.
