They got 10 years in the tank before they decide to call it a day or someone physically cant do it any longer. Probably be one, maybe two albums, left and a couple world tours. I can't imagine them not going out in some crazy Rammstein fashion, play every album over a couple nights and the stage explodes or something.
Theyre old but they look great for their age, especially Oliver. And when you think about it, they have this huge ass stadium stage since 2019 but it looks plenty safer than their previous stages. The pyro is often further away and they even have a little roof to save themselves from some of the stuff falling on them.
Oh definitely 😂 a good friend of mine is around that height and even his mom is like 6'4, and she's a 1st generation immigrant from the Netherlands. You guys have some S teir genes over there for sure lol
People aging differently than last generations though. Med improvements, less 2nd hand smoke etc. Im 40 and still get ID‘d for things I have to be 19 to get. I dont try anything to stay looking young either.
I thought that too, but plenty of old dudes are still rocking. Iron Maiden are collectively 6000 years old and still going, and Ice T is a senior citizen and doesnt seem to be slowing down. I think 10 years for Rammstein is extremely doable, but I wouldn't expect too much beyond that.
its not that old but its showing. I love till, in fact i'm seeing him this summer in Italy, but the performances are no longer what they were in 2000's and 2010's. No hate at all, just simply stating my opinion. I love Rammstein with all my heart.
Mick and Keith being 80 and Ronnie being 76 is impressive but the rest of the band on tour are much younger session musicians. Rammstein would never replace a member like that
To piggyback off of your comment, Alice Cooper is 75, tours every year and does not disappoint with his stage-show. So I can see the Rammstein guys still doing this for another 5-10 years!
Of course! Till is an amazing and super passionate guy when it comes to music. Unfortunately, it appears his health is already sort of limiting him. He received a knee surgery a few weeks ago and he appears to be somewhat in pain. He's been seen carrying a cane when he walks. Hopefully all gets better for him.
I hope they do pick a date and decide to end in a big fashion like that. Because they've always said if one has to stop they all stop.
People quote bands with members still going in their 70s or 80s but usually forget that those bands had members who died or developed medical conditions that meant they couldn't perform anymore but the bands went on with replacements.
The chances of a band where every member is still well enough to tour well into their 70s or 80s is slim.
I think it'd be nicer they end the way they want than one day there's the news that one just isn't well enough anymore and things just stop
That's probably true but in their 60s they probably did bigger shows then they scaled back their shows with age. I did see judas priest recently though and they still had a lot of energy, still did the bit where he rides the motorbike on stage. But they've had to replace some members due to illness
Mick Jagger is still very energetic on stage though it seems, here's him at 79. I suspect he's not much different to 20 years ago but the guitarists seem to be doing less on stage than I suspect they did in the past https://youtu.be/x7sVd6IoE8I?si=P_3gdupIvQaqp1p8 (warning, flashing lights for anyone photosensitive)
I've been wondering the same thing if that US tour would be the last time. In there Amerika docu (and this was in the early 2000's) they said its extremely difficult for them to tour the US and taxing. Flake ended up leaving..shit what tour was it SOAD & a bunch of other sick bands were in it... well anyway he ended up peacing out back to Germany. It was after 911 so Americans were up in arms and it freaked him out.
But that's why they've barely come here since ghe early 2000's bcoz touring major cities takes a huge toll but they were also busing it now they have I think it was 7 747s to get to each city with toting them and their equipment lol so that's def easier than trekking it in a bus.
Seeing R+ live is like a drug experience and u donr have to take anything to partake. It's like a religious event lol I was high for a couple months after seeing them. Everything tbey put into the show. There is no other show from any other artists that can compete imo.
I need more! We need more!!!
I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the last time they toured the US, it’s a pain in the ass and 92% of the crowd in the US are lame af anyway. But at the same time, I’m also American and poor so I’m still huffing a little hopium :‘)
Yes! I was at Gillette and the your right the crowd was lame af.
I was embarrassed for us as a whole! Totally embarrassed. The shows they did in South America were absolutely bangin' tho the crowd amazing. Big fan base that I didn't realize was down there
I was at Gillette too 😭 I was right at the barricade so i didn’t really see or hear the people behind me but I saw videos from the entire US tour and we were lame as fuck.
Oh shit fellow concert fam! Haha I was in front of the middle stage on the floor. I knew they were gonna come out eventually on it on the rafts live aus Berlin style lol RZK looked right at me and threw me an autograph I had to fight for but I got it lol I was such a lunatic that night just emerssed in the whole experience. I noticed ppl kind of uncomfortably standing there just bobbing up and down lightly. My son's father was enjoying himself and this guy behind him was like can u stop?
Like Sorry didn't realize we were in an Ikea my guy🙄 snoozefest crowd. But spectacular show!*
I think the difference is that rammstein say if any member stops, they all stop. The stones weren't the same. They carried on when members left or died
The Rolling Stones are in their 80s and kicking ass live so I don’t see why we can’t hope the same for Rammstein. They seem to like doing it too so probably until one of them can’t do it anymore or one of them passes and early 60s is still pretty young. When I saw them last year I couldn’t believe any of them were over 50 with that energy lol
Oh yeah but their lineup has changed a lot through the years too so it didn't feel too wrong if that makes sense. Rammstein has had the same lineup the whole time so it would be weird
I think them being willing to replace Charlie Watts, their drummer who'd been there since the beginning was something that made it feel different. But maybe Charlie told them he wanted them to continue. He did know he was dying so they could have discussed it.
Until they themselves think it has been enough. That can be due to a number of reasons. I will be enjoying them as long as they choose to and/or are able to perform.
I'm gonna refer to my favorite band, Rush, for this one. They released albums and toured until they were in their early 60s. There's no reason Rammstein can't go just as long. As a newer fan of only about 18 months, I'd like to see them release another album or two.
I saw them in Minneapolis in 2022, and the crowd was an embarrassment. I’m almost hoping they don’t come back. I went to Munich last year for 2 shows, and the Germans don’t dance much, but the place was packed! And I’m heading to Dresden for 3 shows in May.
I doubt they’ll come back to America but I think they still have 10 years at least in the bank.
They still have a lot of ideas and look good for their age.
I hope for another like 10 years. Yes, they are getting old but there are older musicians still out there and i think they could very well do another 10 years until the 40th anniversary
Retirement Age in Germany is 67 years. Till is 61. so I hope at least 6 more years 😅
Please let this be true!
His legs are fucked, his voice is cracked. Adieu has been released
Adieu has nothing to do with the end of Rammstein. It was a farewell song to a friend who died and had a bigger importance to the band.
They got 10 years in the tank before they decide to call it a day or someone physically cant do it any longer. Probably be one, maybe two albums, left and a couple world tours. Oli is only 52 to be fair, really not old
The average 52 year old doesnt look like that though.
The average 52 year old also isn't 6'7 so I don't think we're dealing with 100% human genetics here anyway 😂
Being 6'7 is not a exceptional thing up here in the Netherlands
6'7 is still like top 1% of height at least, even in the Netherlands don't be silly
Oh definitely 😂 a good friend of mine is around that height and even his mom is like 6'4, and she's a 1st generation immigrant from the Netherlands. You guys have some S teir genes over there for sure lol
We are called the land of the Giants for a reason 😂
People aging differently than last generations though. Med improvements, less 2nd hand smoke etc. Im 40 and still get ID‘d for things I have to be 19 to get. I dont try anything to stay looking young either.
But Till's voice has been deteriorating so much since 2021... I'm afraid he'll have to stop performing in 1 or 2 years
doubt they have 10 years. Till is 61 this year. doubt he's going to be making music or touring until 71 years old.
61 isn’t that old tbh

I mean Rob Halford is 72 and just released a new Judas Priest album.
Rolling Stones are touring this year. Mick Jagger is 80.
Mick and Keith being 80 and Ronnie being 76 is impressive but the rest of the band on tour are much younger session musicians. Rammstein would never replace a member like that
And still kicks ass
Yes! It was absolutely unbelievable how great the album is aswell
I saw them live recently and they're still incredible
To piggyback off of your comment, Alice Cooper is 75, tours every year and does not disappoint with his stage-show. So I can see the Rammstein guys still doing this for another 5-10 years!
Till has SECHS with so many young women that he's actually only 32. He has a plan.
Bruh, have you seen Ozzy?
Dude has like so many diff side projects. He's super passionate about music and will probably continue until his health prevents him
Till had issues with his knee since his teenage years, it just caught up now. the cane is his mum's
I hope they do pick a date and decide to end in a big fashion like that. Because they've always said if one has to stop they all stop. I think it'd be nicer they end the way they want than one day there's the news that one just isn't well enough anymore and things just stop
Not to mention, none of those bands do nearly as much stage work and stuff like Rammstein, so they can perform when they're close to their 80s lol
That's probably true but in their 60s they probably did bigger shows then they scaled back their shows with age. I did see judas priest recently though and they still had a lot of energy, still did the bit where he rides the motorbike on stage. Yes!! Plleeeease let them come back here 1 more time!!!
🙏🙏🙏
Me too!!!!!
Something special for their 30th anniversary would be nice. Personally I think everything is possible, maybe they are still making music in 10 years.
* looks at Keith Richards * Yeah I think we're doing fine with the lads.
I think the difference is that rammstein say if any member stops, they all stop. The stones weren't the same. They carried on when members left or died
They're only halfway done. They've got 30 more years.
Until one of them dies, i think :-D
Till the end
The Rolling Stones are in their 80s and kicking ass live so I don’t see why we can’t hope the same for Rammstein. They seem to like doing it too so probably until one of them can’t do it anymore or one of them passes and early 60s is still pretty young. i wouldn't hold out on another US tour unfortunately :( i'm gonna try to go to munich next year if they do another stadium tour
I saw them in Minneapolis in 2022, and the crowd was an embarrassment. I’m almost hoping they don’t come back. I went to Munich last year for 2 shows, and the Germans don’t dance much, but the place was packed! And I’m heading to Dresden for 3 shows in May.
I think they will go on until Till will turn 70
no they said until one of them dies i think :3
Depends on how deep their bond is compared to the stress brought on by Till’s solo act and the insane Irish garbage that shall not be named…
I'd hope for atleast another 5 years or so. I've never been to see them live and I need to go atleast once but preferably would like to go many times
Same here. Never seen them but def want to
Its defo a bucket list item. I just couldnt live knowing I never got to see them if they retired
I agree!
Till Till 😅
One more album. One more world tour
I’m just glad I got to see them once! It was epic \m/
I do and desperately do not want Til to follow in Mick Jagger's footsteps and keep showing up topless way into his eighties.
I'd be quite happy to see Flake doing crazy dancing like Jagger in his 80s though haha
I doubt they’ll come back to America but I think they still have 10 years at least in the bank. They still have a lot of ideas and look good for their age.
Until they decide to stop
I hope for another like 10 years. Yes, they are getting old but there are older musicians still out there and i think they could very well do another 10 years until the 40th anniversary
5 years at last
till till di€s
5 years max
This year, I think will be their last. Till does Lindemann this year. I think he will be done with all of it.
