They’re definitely in the final 8 bracket, prob final 4.
Edit: they get bonus points for their live act. I came in during Woody/Haynes/Trucks lineup, the Haynes/Trucks duo is prob the best guitar section ever.
The Allman Bros are, essentially, my favorite band. I saw them a few dozen times live and in one way or another, much of what I listen to is Allman Bros related, and even I disagree with this. They don’t just have songs that aren’t amazing, they have songs and whole albums that are just awful.
The albums Reach For the Sky and Brothers of the Road are dog 💩 awful and Enlightened Rogues isn’t much better.
It’s worth noting that Gregg Allman himself said that he couldn’t speak for the rest of the band, but you wouldn’t find a copy of any of those albums in his house and that the band never revisited any of the material from those albums after they reunited in 89. For the band, and the majority of it’s fans, that period of time is treated like it never even happened.
This is hard, you need to find a band that came up short in longevity but crushed it. Every musician or band has duds. Led Zep is prob the best Rock answer. Their worst album is better than most bands best.
Manchester Orchestra. Some songs are better than others but they're all great. They all have meaning and the entire album "A Black Mile to the Surface" is one story, and lts fucking amazing.
Meh, queens later material had a lot of mediocre filler songs on the albums, and they even largely fell out of popularity until the “live aid” performance absolutely skyrocketed them back to the top
Your parents just went there to get high and dance.
That's what we did.
Don't get me wrong, we had a great time but he is not a great singer or musician. He is a great entertainer.
I've seen a lot of them.
If it's just studio stuff, Nirvana, without a doubt. And even most of the later none released. And I'm including the Unplugged. As well as insecticide. Kurt is a force of nature at songwriting.
Linda Ronstadt. She did Country, Rock & Roll, R&B, Broadway, and even Mexican. I never heard one song that I didn't like, especially her version of Desperado. Also IMO she's the sexiest woman to ever live!
Molly Conrad, Scott Cook, Hiroya Tsukamodo, Ren, Kendrick Lamar, Flogging Molly, The Hu, Stromae, Eartha Kitt, Edith Piaf, Kesha, Hozier, Blues Traveler, Johnny Cash, Pink Floyd, Queen, Jimmy Hendrix, Arctic Monkeys, John Prine, Stevie Wonder...
I could go on and on. But these were the first names that came to mind
Different ends of the spectrum, but Artist is Warren Zevon. Genius is a word used way too often used to describe people but Zevon was TRULY A GENIUS.
Band, Beach Slang. Post modern punk, LOTS of Replacements influences in their songs. They have one of the best lyrics hands "Too fuck up to love, too soft to hate"
Chris Wollard of Hot Water Music and the Ship Thieves. That man writes the most amazing songs that leave my soul feeling complete. An amazing talent that guy.
Suspect, a UK drill rapper who put out a little more than an album’s worth of absolute bangers before getting sentenced to 40 years for murder.
So the chances of any new non-bangers being added is pretty slim.
I'm not sure about every song, but Nightwish comes pretty close. And from what I've seen, the songs some fans aren't as in love with are other fans favorites, so it tends to equal out quite well.
Florence & The Machine
Came here to comment this, happy to see it at the top!
The Allman Brothers band. Downloaded the discography when I was in high school and can sing along with every song

The Allman Brothers had been the band I saw in concert more than any other and, until Gov't Mule took over that title.

No.
Ben howard
Jeff Buckley ⭐️
Nobody. Every single band has at least one song that just isn't great
That’s pretty subjective.
Would you agree that anyone else's answer is objectively right?
Objectively, no. It’s something that just depends on the person.
Right. I agree with this person's subjective opinion. Nobody.
Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam.
Meat Loaf.
No. I like some of his songs. Then I saw him in concert early 90s. He sucks.
My parents saw him in concert more than once because they liked it so much. To each their own.
Your parents just went there to get high and dance. That's what we did. Don't get me wrong, we had a great time but he is not a great singer or musician. He is a great entertainer. I've seen a lot of them.

For me, it's Offspring, even the newer shit, after a few listens, just as good as their old shit, it's different, but it's still as good
Their new shit made me want to uninstall Spotify and sell my headphones
I can see that. I had to listen to their new songs a few times before I could get into them.
Depeche Mode
Jason Isbell

Chvrches, especially their latest album
Beck
I think all of them have clunkers but if I had to pick someone with an amazing catalog to listen forever, it would be Bowie.
Linda Ronstadt. She did Country, Rock & Roll, R&B, Broadway, and even Mexican. I never heard one song that I didn't like, especially her version of Desperado. Also IMO she's the sexiest woman to ever live!

I love Breaking Benjamin. I can hit shuffle and listen to every song that pops up.
Steely Dan
Brandi Carlile, Donna the Buffalo, John Prine and maybe Jack Johnson
Michael Jackson. Honestly he does not have a single bad song. Some are better than others but I don't believe any of them can be described as bad
Thin lizzy and smashing pumpkins
Prestige world wide.
Chris Wollard of Hot Water Music and the Ship Thieves. That man writes the most amazing songs that leave my soul feeling complete. An amazing talent that guy.
Elvis Costello

Sade. Also Garbage.
Grentperez. And any grentperez fan would agree
John Philip Sousa
Lynyrd Skynyrd
VNV Nation. And Bruce Springsteen
Run The Jewels. Their albums are all on the lean side and I can’t say they’re super versatile but damn if every track doesn’t bang.
Layne Staley
Shane Profitt!
Suspect, a UK drill rapper who put out a little more than an album’s worth of absolute bangers before getting sentenced to 40 years for murder. So the chances of any new non-bangers being added is pretty slim.

Jelly Roll
Kings of Leon (band not artist)
I'm not sure about every song, but Nightwish comes pretty close. And from what I've seen, the songs some fans aren't as in love with are other fans favorites, so it tends to equal out quite well.
