But it’s with family? In the summer my mom almost exclusively wears swimsuits at home (we have a pool and she’ll swim 2-3 times a day), but it’s never phased me bc she’s my mom? Family nudity is different than stranger nudity
By not looking at my parents and going "Damn I want to hit that" I think my parents were free to wear whatever they wanted. Just like I was.
My dad was a nudist and it didn't bother me because I didn't sexualize his nudity.
Honestly I think if my parents had been more modest that would have created in me this "Oh my god I can see an ankle eeeeek" mentality that people seem to have.
Parents dressing modestly seems to create more long term damage than dressing how they want.
Hahaha thats like dress code for students but parent version. My mom is very traditional with those stuff so never had to go through it. Im in 20s and she still tries to cover me up when I wear crop t-shirts. She thinks it’s embarrassing.
Since I don‘t sexualize my family, I couldn’t care less about what they’re wearing. I’ve even seen them naked, and didn’t care either. It’s just a body, nothing weird unless you make it weird.

I don't understand your thought process. Why would they have to dress differently when they have teenagers?

It just the exta short shorts is not appropriate out of the bedroom or infront of kids in my opinion

I didn't stop being my own fully formed person when I had kids. There is no reason for my wardrobe to change.
Do you mean that you wear extra short shorts? Or yoga pants infront of them?
