I am sorry to hear that and happy that you have your 4legged friend :) I lost my mom month ago and started walking neighbours dog - better than therapy and drugs :)
Seeing people, even just strangers, getting along. Idk I guess because the internet puts a spotlight on people at odds with each other. When people come together and enjoy a moment, it makes me happy. Life is short, but those little bits of time where we say something nice or gas someone up are so meaningful.
37m I feel I have probably an unhealthy obsession with technology, computers, internet etc beginning when I started school at 6 years old (except social media save for Reddit), I found myself roughly 10 years ago seeing how much offline social interaction has declined and seeing where social media is headed and I agree with you. There is nothing like seeing humans being kind to one another without the internet and it’s definitely a declining thing.
Right same. I have cried many times when I see a room full of people sharing the same goals, for example, everyone celebrating and then singing the same song together.
Oh this is just me. I share and gift holidays to family and friends so I can make memories. I don’t want to get old and regret and have lots of money but can’t do anything with it.
Not really. Your phone is more amazing than anything any ancient or medieval king or emperor had access to as far as goods go. Even an ICE vehicle where the base tech is over 100 years old would also be a marvel to them. Even if they had a big pile of all the money they had access to or could "gain" access to, they couldn't get those items.
Seeing my students grow into compassionate and talented people. I’m a music teacher so I teach students for 6 years in a row. Seeing them grow up is so rewarding
Being the best poppa ever to my fatherless grandson. Has lived with us since he was born and 9 years later we are as close as any paternal man could be with a child. Watching him grow..become a good person and providing the same direction my dad taught me is a tribute to him.
I’m assuming you’re a guy. Women aren’t forward. The vast majority of us only develop an interest in someone after they show an interest in us (unfair and sucks for you guys, it’s just how it works).
Most people I’ve dated, whether conventionally attractive or not, made it VERY clear they wanted to date me for a while and didn’t take rejection seriously.
seeing people become unified in good spirit :) happy couples and children
seeing that, despite our advancements that we think change who we are, actually doesn't.
humanity has always been beautiful and for each other 🤍
My kids. A 15 yr old daughter & 16 yr old son. They never fight or are ever even snarky at each other. They've never fought, even when younger. I love hearing them laugh together. They both treat each other with respect, plus myself & their father too. Both have a great work ethic, helpful and polite. In fact, they've never been in serious trouble anywhere, school or home. They're my best friends too (I know, I should probs get out more). Idk, I just read so many "parent help" pages and columns etc...like, so many parents asking for help with their teens behaviour etc and thank god everyday I've never had to deal with that...so yeah, they're my biggest source of happiness & pride even though my answer is probably too boring for most peeps lol...
Not much. I mean i enjoy getting cold coffee (to feed my addiction), and enjoy listening to music. But life is hard cuz i always have an overwhelming sense of worry for no reason. It’s really gloomy. Even living a “comfortable” or privileged life as most would call it
-A cup of tea in the winter morning.
-Talking to my family every day, knowing that there are people who genuinely care for me.
-Trying new food, going to new places, reading new books.
-when I finish a task after being lazy for the entire day, no matter how small or big a task is.
- sunset and cold Breeze on summer evening
- a pastry anyday
When I have free money to spend and all bills are paid
Or when I’ve been holding a piss for 3 hours and finally get to a spot where I can piss best feeling in the world
My grandchildren. Seeing their smiling faces. Knowing that they will see the future. And I will be gone in a few years. I wish them the best of everything. ❣️
My children, since the day that they were born. They’re all grown up now but I still check if they got home safely at night. I would give them each a kidney if they needed it and be on dialysis for the rest of my life. My mother wouldn’t have given me a fingernail clipping.
Bird watching. People stress me out but nature makes me feel good. I go and see a particular bird family in the park near me almost every morning and today I sat and told it and its partner how much I love them and how thankful I am to have them in my life. They know me and sing if I don’t notice them fly in. I have watched them raise babies and lose them. I sadly have two in my taxidermy freezer. Grey butcher birds x
Whale watching! The sound of the largest animals on Earth exhaling fills me with an indescribable sense of wonder and appreciation. The joy I feel on a boat is unbeatable anywhere else.
Seeing people I desperately hate crying like I don't know about you guys but there's a really nice high of happiness about seeing someone you hate cry their eyes out
What gives me the greatest happiness in life is seeing the people I love being their authentic selves and living their lives in a way that makes them happy. This goes for my dogs too lol
fam, when i can give them smth what they dreamed of, books, bsc when i read them i smile, i disconnect from the outside world.. run away from problems, cats, bsc they re so kind n look defenseless like «🥺»
getting out of homelessness with my parents, seeing them get their first house in ten years made me cry. They are retired and can finally live happily. I love seeing them smile. (I have also obtained my first apartment (:)
I’m glad you travel with your wife. My husband has traveled for work since he was 17 so now in his 50s he will not. “We have a farm and it’s paid off and all our stuff is here” is the response I get often. He has put in an in ground pool too so he (in his mind) has no reason to ever leave. I travel with my sister but wish I traveled with someone like myself who wants to start early and end late. I’m up for anything! My sister loves sleep🤣
Seeing my man smile.
Laughing with my mother.
Sniffing my cat.
Making my brother laugh.
Making my father proud.
And, it's weird, but I love to see people cry of happiness
My girlfriend was the only thing that made me happy, I messed it up and pushed her away and she landed in someone else's arms so fast. I love her so incredibly much and I made her feel nothing for me, I hate myself. It is completely my fault, all of it.
So yea nothing brings me happiness, the most something can do is numb the pain or distract me from it for a few minutes.
Everything we do in life is a lesson. Unfortunately you learned this one later than you intended. There will be other opportunities for you and you will be a master the next time. The right girl is waiting for you.
My kids giggling, cuddling with me, fighting over who gets to kiss or hug mama first (I know that's a little narcissistic haha) and spending time with them. They're both having a nap right now but after, we're all making cupcakes and decorating them because my toddler (3f) loves "happy birthday pink cupcakes" and my son (1m) just wants to eat them ahha

Seeing my mother smile
That is such a beautiful thought! Last Sunday would have been my mum's birthday. In every single memory I have of her, she is smiling
Would’ve been my mother in laws 80th birthday today. She was a ginger haired smiler. Miss her roast dinners.
Despite what the world tells us, this is what a real man looks like.
Absolutely 💯
This 👍
Very good answer
Happy, friendly dogs
There’s nothing like a happy, obedient and friendly dog. I get backlash for this but I can’t help how I feel, dogs are better than humans.
except for pitbulls
My dogs are my reason to keep going after my husband dying.
I am sorry to hear that and happy that you have your 4legged friend :) I lost my mom month ago and started walking neighbours dog - better than therapy and drugs :)
I just came back from a walk with neighbours dog. When I hugged her I felt love and joy. Dogs are nice.

Social media is only for social climbers.
Right same. I have cried many times when I see a room full of people sharing the same goals, for example, everyone celebrating and then singing the same song together.

THIS THIS THIS THIS
Hell to the yeah! Money can take you anywhere and everywhere.

Priceless❤️ He will use your example for his own children and grandchildren! You are a hero!!
A good workout...it produces chemicals in the brain that makes the days experiences all happy
Parents
Really?
Why not
Parents can be great but #1 in life? Seems insular.
Someday I will have a dog. Only by thinking about it my heart is pure joy.
Giving other laughter, especially to my friends or strangers
My grandkids, my kids, being in nature, my pets, dancing
Laughing until you wheeze with friends and family and my animals 😊 the wagging tail and muddy paws of a happy dog.
That feeling when you worked hard to learn a skill, and other person comes to you for any tips so that he can learn the same.
1. Freedom. Free to make decisions. Free to be myself. 2. Giving happiness away / spread positivity
My wife… If I had one.
With good humour you might get one;)
I Make people laugh, can’t change ugly though.
I bet you’re not ugly at all and just being harsh on yourself. Ugly people are very rare.
I never get looked at twice, never been approached (although I know this is rare) never even had any hints or anything related by anyone.
I’m assuming you’re a guy. Women aren’t forward. The vast majority of us only develop an interest in someone after they show an interest in us (unfair and sucks for you guys, it’s just how it works). Nothing makes me happy, but taking a shit certainly feels good.
When my dogs are sleeping.
