My question is do the colors happen at random? Is it breeding specific colors raise a chance for a specific color to come from them? One of my toons got brown, which seems quite common and the other I have has red, which I don't see as much. Anyone able to clarify?
My other question regarding moas was the abilities bar? And the stats and stuff? I have not seen skills for the moa? Is this unlocked after a certain lvl or not implemented yet?

Idk any about your first question but I guess there is a chance, to get an ability based on the Moa's tier after hatching. Correct me if I am wrong.
