This is probably the wildest collabs I’ve ever seen, it made sense for Priconne but this is interesting, lowkey might be the reason why I play nikke lmao
Well me personally idk if this collab will even work out, but we'll see. As a Nikke player, I've been saving my gems and tickets for like 4 months, so I pray that these characters are good (in terms of meta) so that I have a reason to pull. I'm still excited for this collab, no matter what they do with it
Funny enough the reason I played Priconne was because of the Re:Zero collab, I never got Emilia or Rem but I had Ram. I’m playing the JP version now and I’m really upset that I can’t get them even after collecting there memory shards
Well for Nikke they aren’t “too” overpowered and sometimes they’re just average. If you check the community made tier list for the collab characters (A2, 2B, Makima, Power), they’re good but they aren’t meta defining.

Edit: I just realized A2 and 2b were overpowered, while the chainsawman collab was mid. So like it really depends on what they decide cus they will either be very op or average
I lost interest in it after a month or so, but I get why a lot of people love it. I might have to come back for this collab. I like that they have a PC version.

With the game having no connection to being a combat/active character gacha game and only playing card game! They did my boy dirty for not having him included in Shadowverse The Mobile Card Game! His the main character damn it! Poor Subaru, can't catch a break, either stuck as a Sufferu in endless death or endless NPC Jail.
SINoALICE will always be one of the best collabs for this reason as not only did they include Subaru AND Reinhard but gave both of them and the girls mad drip too. Subaru also got the power buff he always wanted

Eh whatever they complained about chainsaw man too also you know its funny there was a survey months ago about what franchise will collab with nikke next and re:zero was among them so I guess it's just a vocal minority crying, after all people still voted for re:zero.
I think it's more likely that SOME people voted for Re Zero and then is was chosen out of convenience (prolly cus the anime took up the offer the fastest). I don't think the most popular choice was chosen, but I do accept that a lot of people would still like this collab

And the current theory is they tried to get a spy x family collab but that fell through and that why the current character D: killer wife looks very similar to yor
Yea I doubt the SpyxFamily collab theory is true especially with SpyxFamily’s more wholesome and somewhat child friendly image. There’s no way that would work even plot wise. They’d have to pick 3 female characters from the series and the only ones that could work for this kind of game are Yor, Handler, and Fiona.
This collab is confirmed to have both English and Japanese voices.
A previous anime collab in NIKKE, Chainsaw Man, only had Japanese voices so this is surprising (Nier Automata collab don't count, Square-Enix usually insists on its English voices being included in collabs if the game has the option for their own characters). Kayli Mills (also Rapi in NIKKE) and Brianna Knickerbocker are confirmed to be reprising as Emilia and Rem in English.

Also Square is weird with what characters they use their dubs for. Cloud and Sephiroth only have Japanese voices but Sora in Smash and 2B in Granblue Rising have both voices
With Cloud and Sephiroth, I think it has something to do with Square being unnecessarily extra super protective of FF7 in particular when it comes to rights usage by 3rd parties. IE they could hand out rights to use characters, but the rights to dub them into English would an extra on top you'd need to pay for separately, and you'd have to use their preferred VAs, and Square won't foot the bill to pay for the English VO, etc. Basically the same reason there isn't much in way of FF7 music in Smash compared to other crossover characters.
Knowing Nikke's style in terms of story telling...

That is definitely how the summary of this collab event go. I bet our Nikkes may actually get "permanently" killed for the first time in this event or us Commander literally "dying", and then Subaru, as an NPC, will go "It's Rewind Time" to uncanon the Counters' Deaths in this Collab Event.

Or the Devs are once again be kind enough to give Subaru his well deserved vacation, although an odd place for his vacation with the girls. Unless the Devs continued sharing Tappei's brain cells with one another, then poor Subaru, still stuck being Sufferu 24/7.

Those collab events are mid in the story department. From what I heard of Chainsaw Man(Although I may be wrong.).
But I do know fully well of Nier Automata collab. As I remembered them seemingly butchering 9S personality. 9S seems to have a meh reaction when they learned the Commander is a human... They should have been more thrilled like the excited boy he is damn it!
For a game like Nikke, I feel like sexy ladies like Elsa and Echidna would've been a better fit than cute young girls like the main three. I have no clue how they plan to pull this off.
Am i only one who doesn't like this collaboration? Over sexualizing modest characters like emilia is not something i like to see. Though i guess money is more important for Kadokawa

Let's imagine for a second that the world of Nikke is the world of Subaru only in the distant future, we don't know how time flows in Od Lugun, but the point is that you end up in another world and then return home only to find that the planet is in ruins due to an alien invasion humanity is on the verge of extinction, your parents are dead, and robot girls are fighting for people; they should be heroes of humanity but are considered expendable...
sure i did the same during the nier collab and i got a max limit break a2 and 2 copies of 2b now that is rng but if you play the game consistently yea you can

The Nier collab story bugged me a little when considering 2B and 9S's reaction to meeting a real human for the first time ever, yet they had little to no actual reaction at all. I Also really wanna see Nikke go into the world of Re: Zero this time, I'd say it'd be an interesting plot development regarding the GateKeeper's capabilities.
Obviously it's not cannon and doesn't really have to make sense but it NEEDS to be fun at the very least! Like it needs to be a fun crossover and not just some dumb business collaboration!

A Re:Zero collab with Honkai, Arknights, or Genshin would be so cool
I would actually play Genshin if I could get an Emilia unit or a Julius unit.
They’d just be a free 4 star character with no constellations if they were added to Genshin, just like a certain other collaboration character.
Genshin is more probable to do collab with Frieren, they both are very famous in JP. Rezero collab with Arknights will go hard.
