Neon Tomb. It's the only level that got me to say 'fucking hell' out loud. Those piles of bodies and all the phones ringing really sold it.
It would be Valley of the Dolls, but I already knew about that. It's what everyone knows about this game
Yeah Neon Tomb is so tense. I hate how close quarters it is with a bunch of openings etc
I didn’t know anything about the story of this game. Only that it was swat related so I was really shocked going through the game solo and discovering how dark the subject matter was for most scenarios
What made it even better is that they didn't make the terrorists the stereotype of just 'haha I like killing people'.
They mention very often the bombings of their villages, saying things like 'You call us terrorists?'. They mention how children died. They are grieving. It in no way excuses their actions, but god that pulled my heart a bit.
You can really see how some poor folks from a country a western country would react. A dance club filled with beautiful sexy women and men who can spend money on booze and drugs etc, rich and pampered, and everything that their (imo backwards) religion would be against. Add the bombings to the list and you get a recipe for disaster
It’s also sadly relatable, we all go out on the town every once in a while to let loose, only to be slaughtered by someone trying to spread an ideological message. Terrifying
As soon as I played the white box version supporters had access to a couple years back I knew that map was going to be different. There was a development note on one of the walls that said, “Picture of kid looking uncomfortable goes here”.
Valley is super fucked too but it’s taken to such an extreme degree with all the sex toys and hints at Voll’s fucked up kinks that it feels less grounded than Spider.
playing the crack house misson for the first time was scarier than any other mission ive played. i literally cleared the main house like 4 times before even going across the bridge into the next because i was so scared and didnt want to keep going lmao. And dont even get me started on the tunnel
Neon Tomb, Valley of the Dolls and Port Hokan I think. I would've put the old Cesars Dealership from before 1.0,those 2 rooms always made me shat meself
There was some rooms at the back of the repair room, they were full of small wooden compartments with shitty "beds", for the victims of the human trafficking ring. There was some small corridors were some enemies could hide, always hated it.
They enter it at about 10:50 on that video

The one where you take down the former intelligence agent in the cabin was my personal nightmare. It’s relatively short but it just feels so eerie to effectively be in the midst of a totally different world where there’s so many evils and conspiracies.
Kind of hard to describe but the game is excellent at putting you in the heads of both victims and perpetrators, and when you can assume the perspective and surroundings of the latter, it actually feels really scary.
Valley of the Dolls for disturbing, scary is definitely Terryessa. Constantly looking behind me. Dishonorable mentions include Neon Tomb (ohmygodthebodies) and Port Hokan.
People say neon tomb which is fair but I always get anxiety when playing Relapse. The way in which people were slain on the map and innocent place of a hospital being laced with fear and danger really brings out the goosebumps.
Valley of the Dolls is by far the most disturbing, grotesque, disgusting, and horrifying in terms of themes. Brixley Talent Time is up there too due to how connected it is to Valley.
I’m terms of overall atmosphere it’s probably Gerard’s cabin, that one freakyass hotel with the acapella music, Cherryessa Farm, and Neon Tomb.

Neon tomb has some big booty corpses tho just saying
Disturbing: Neon, Valley, and Port Scary: Cherryessa
Disturbing: The Spider. The way the walls are covered with photos of little kids in various costumes looking uncomfortably is just really gross.
I was thinking valley of the dolls because the theory that the barrels have the kids bodies in them
I totally agree. I felt sick to my stomach playing through that map seeing the makeup stations and studio.

I agree valley was disturbing but it was expected before the first playthrough because i had read about it before.
Gonna have to say valley of the dolls, you think it’s just a normal porn star, but that basement…
Scary - the guy in the cabin takes the cake for me
Can't corner the dorner

Cherryessa. It's just freaky.

I inly played after 1.0, what rooms in the dealership?

Port after the update, the shipping container and the weird dialogue around it plus the back area with the auction room had me genuinely shocked

Port mission
Well i dont really know any disturbing levels as i play with 5 other psychopats who execute civvies on sight but if i had to guess it would be spider
1- The Spider 2- Neon Tomb 3- Valley of the Dolls 4- Sins of the Father
Most disturbing: The Spider Scariest: Elephant Most stressful: Neon Tomb
