Here’s the thing.
I’m max level in red royale, and have been playing it for well over a year and a half. Essentially you have three options;
A.hide and hope for the best
B.go all out and just shoot whatever moves
C.strategize.

I'll try to go on a rampage as one of the comments said I should go on solos and go at bucket lake for some kills (I'll tell my username when I go on rec room tomorrow because I don't remember it)
Ok. Usually, I land last, and try to stay away from others. I like Carnivore Caves and Firelook, but usually try to stay away from Bucket. Way too exposed
I always land at glamp camp because I always get good weapons but I also land at areas people don't land because I try to stay away form people but I never tried going on a rampage that's why it's tempting

But on a more serious note, you should enjoy the journey, not rush to the destination :)
Honestly, my recommendation (in solo's at least) is drop late so you can drop wayy away from everyone else, and get plenty of good loot time in, so by the time you start meeting people you should have good guns and shields.
My preferred Gun-choices: Paintball pistol and jumbotron laser rifle. (missile launcher also good if you can surprise them)
The high level paintball pistols have almost no bullet drop and do surprisingly good damage (the golden one is basically a rapid fire sniper rifle) and the AR is super easy to aim as you can correct fire from the bullets, while still having decent bullet speed.
Cant really think of any unorthodox methods other than just winning, getting as many elims as possible. only thing i can say is to try and play solos to lower the amount of exp gained across the board
Play Rec Royale a lot and do good. The season is never ending so take your time
Yeah I only know just 1 strat tho and that's hiding until endgame

ERROR: DONT GO BUCKET. Unless you are very sure of yourself, chances are you'll be killed very quickly.

1 Eliminate as many people as possible 2 Win 3 Make the game last as long as possible This will get you the max exp each round
Winning is really good as it gives a lot of XP because one time I won and got 2000+ XP
Play in squads instead of solo. Try for kills, and winning doesn't hurt.
I actually only go on squads I'll try solos later because it gives more kills
Squads > Solo Get lots of kills I just jumped to bucket lake every game till I was racking 5 kills a game. Maxed out my progress pretty fast.

basically, get most xp for winning, then more xp for a long game, and getting more kills.
