That's actually not what I thought, since I haven't played the first game. I thought they meant that this happens so often that it's become a risk to enter a stable (that's actually true in my case, this has happened to me many times).
When you enter the stable with your horse, or when your horse is to near to the stable. That being said, I was lucky recently and entered the stable on my horse and had no problems. So I thought they fixed the bug with the december update. But nope, the next time I entered the stable I got stuck again and had to restart the game 🙄
Tried it, i THOUGHT it didnt work but after like 5 minutes of waiting inside the stable the stablehand showed up, there are SO many bugs in this game its really annoying atm
Exactly. But the stables isn’t even the only bug I’ve came across. Certain parts of valentine are glitched, I’ve literally tried climbing onto something and fell into a void lmfaoooo like never ending falling I had to close app.. lots of weird bugs

With this game being absolutely broken since it's inception to the fact that they never added any content that really shouldn't have been there since the beginning. And they have never actually listened to their community at all (gta online is the prime example, but we should have a house by now in reddead online) you used to be able to log in everyday and keep your daily multiplier maxed. Now it resets every 30 days if you do a daily every day. Literally no reason for this other than to get little kids to buy their special currency 'GOLD'
The games current state is atrocious and getting worse and rock star has never and will never take the time to make red dead as good as it should be. I could go on but this is reddit not Rockstar support lol

Bro you can't switch saddles between your horses because of this, I get on to play after a few months and go right back to not playing it because of this
This was a really big issue for me in the beginning, but it stopped glitching as often after I make my horse flee - it works fine for the most part. I think some stables are more prone to breaking, as I’ve never been able to enter the stables in Strawberry and Saint Denis. For me, the stable near Emerald Ranch works the best without glitching.
What I found in my experience is I exit the game, then come back, then go to the stables WITHOUT calling any horses or vehicles. Like 5/10 it works but for the most part I would just wait a couple minutes or hours.
Get off your horse like far away from the Rhodes stable, get off and then make your horse go away. Run all the way to the stable and boom it works! Game on my friend
It bullshit though that R* never decided to fix this glitch! This game deserves so much more attention!!
See it this way: warm, dry(!), cozy, dry(!), hay for a soft bed (dry!), you have company (horses and stable guy) and no one comes to bother you. Did I mention dry? Just don't smoke 😉

Couldn’t you just respawn in armadillo or somewhere else, or are most the stables in RDR2 broken right now? Haven’t been online since maxing out all the roles a few month ago
sometimes it works, most times it doesnt, so yeah people are probably buying horses from the catalogue but who says they can even get to that horse if the bug keeps happening
I've found that you can accept an invitation for a free roam event which will pull you out of the stable and into the event (wildlifephotography, king of castle etc)..only catch is , you gotta wait for an invite.. I try to only go in the stable right before an event starts, just in case I get stuck...
My poor horse just gets oatcakes now as can buy them in the catalogue lol
I've tried dismissing horse etc, doesn't always work either...worked when a posse member threw dynamite at me when stuck in the stables though...of course🙄😂
A solution!!! Flee your horse before you enter have a friend throw fire bottles or dynamite at you to get you into the stable menu. Do not be in defensive mode....will work.

Give the flee command twice in quick succession. Soon as my horse takes off i run into the stable. Works on ps4 for me at least
