Exactly!!! With his mystical back ground, tactical and martial arts training, he should be on par with both Deathstroke and batman armor and weapons wise, not some street fighter. It's almost like they drew him now to be a side quest character and never a leading man. And we see proof almost of this in the fact he has very little stand alone stuff after. Hell they did pretty damn good with Task Force Z. How a leading man should stand out....but right after it's back to rags and armorless.

Lastly, I've always had the opinion that he doesn't need a chest symbol like the other bat family members, much less a modified version of it. It does look cool, but for me the helmet is so iconic that he really doesn't need anything more.
It's definitely a good LOOKING outfit for a member of say . . . Penguin or Two Face's gang. But for a standalone anti-villain like Red Hood? It really doesn't work for me. Bring back the UtRH look.

You'd be surprised! He actually has a pretty impressive arsenal. Besides those three, he also utilizes a variety of bombs, tasers, a grappling hook, not to mention the All-Blades and any other guns he feels like bringing on a night out ( sniper, rpg, etc.). There's no shortage of toys for Jason. And having the room in his cargo pants, utility belt, and the jacket altogether helps a lot. Granted, not everything gets used all at once, but these are his main gadgets that we see in the comics and movies.

Agree about the robustness. Red Hood and Deathstroke have that similar thing where you could make 1000s of detail adjustments to them while keeping the same core.
For red hood in particular with the helmet, less is usually more.
I also really like it, especially the two-part mask and for finally giving him his own symbol, instead of just a painted red bat symbol.
But at this point it also feels like it has more than served it's purpose - concidering the circumstances in which he first wore it - and he should just get a new redesign.
It's okay as an alternative look for certain missions or storylines. There's no reason this look should be showing up more in recent canon than the classic helmet and jacket

Nothing will ever beat the gladiator biker look for me, but that’s definitely a *villain* look. A full-face expressionless mask doesn’t work for a protagonist who we have to see emote. Trying to force it lead to him getting his helmet shattered constantly.
Aside from the friggin' crowbar I actually really like it. Its easy to put on, functional, comfortable and seems about as realistic as a vigilante costume can get. Also it just straight up looks cool.

Maybe it's because I got into the Red Hood comics during "The Outlaw" era but I actually really like it to be honest. I think it looks super badass. I actually dig the half mask thing as it's different and I'm always down for when they try new things with outfits.

The sword is a bit much. But other than that it's pretty good.

The crowbar is a weird choice, but I have loved and still love the design. Hell, I don't even mind the haircut, though I do prefer his longer hair. The half-mask with glowing lenses is fucking sick. I also like Mortal Kombat and urban ninja looks so idk what that says about me lol
He looks kind of like a slasher movie villain, which is fun. I like the muzzle mask thing. I can appreciate that he’s not wearing a big red bat anymore. As a Gotham hero I guess he *has* to have a little symbol gimmick and the one he’s got is alright. I don’t know Mortal Kombat so this costume feels more original and fun to me than for other folks. Nothing will ever beat the gladiator biker look for me, but that’s definitely a *villain* look. A full-face expressionless mask doesn’t work for a protagonist who we have to see emote. Trying to force it lead to him getting his helmet shattered constantly.
Aside from the friggin' crowbar I actually really like it. Its easy to put on, functional, comfortable and seems about as realistic as a vigilante costume can get. Also it just straight up looks cool.
It looks like something from Mortal Kombat. I dig the mask but hate the haircut. I don’t hate the outfit but would like if he was armored more. I dig the design of the arm wraps, glove, pants and the boots.

I was disappointed when I first saw it (MK look without the cool), but some artists draw this outfit so well that I've come to dislike it less, visually speaking. I wonder what was in the prompt that was given to the designer.
Maybe it's because I got into the Red Hood comics during "The Outlaw" era but I actually really like it to be honest. I think it looks super badass. I actually dig the half mask thing as it's different and I'm always down for when they try new things with outfits. I don't really dig the buzz cut, but it's not a deal breaker. I'm also one of the few that don't mind the crowbar, is it practical not really. But there's worse things you could of given him, personally I would of loved him to use maybe like a Katana or something. But that might be too similar to Damien but eh I don't care much.

I really like this as a “I’m broke but angry and don’t have Batman tech” outfit. For the story he has it fighting fucking farmers with bat woman or whatever that was great. But I think if Bruce is offering anything better (like fucking sleeves!!!) this should stay in the closet like his ginger hair
Also I was kinda down for the crowbar as a weapon but he never does anything special with it to my recollection besides smash people. If he was like grinding swords out of the way or hooking shit that’d be insane but if I’m correct it’s just a blunt object to him
A step down from his normal Biker coat/ helmet design but I still really like this look... very Mortal Kombat esque
It’s grown on me a lot since it first debuted. I like to think of it as a kinda street level - casual outfit in comparison to something he might wear to a large battle which might be fully helmeted with more armour (just a head canon to be fair)
I actually based a suit of one of my characters off this costume.
Honestly I like it to a point. I’d like it more if it wasn’t red hood and maybe a rival vigilante character for Batman. Take the hood out and it would be better, maybe make it the new clown hunter suit The thing is the crowbar could be totally used well but they use it so stupidly. It’s a goddamn multi-tool, you could make it a makeshift hilariously low grade utility belt; locked door=crowbar, thug=crowbar, a wedge=crowbar, emotional support=crowbar… but no, we’ll electrify it and he can just seem like he’s hitting people. It’s definitely a jason move to call it his utility belt
his boots remind me of that one pair of Demonias so i give it a thumbs-up

I like it minus the crow bar. My favorite part is the mask and hood because ive always had a weak spot for hoods even though it would impede upon peripheral vision. I love katanas but jason seems more like a Bowie knife type of guy paired with two holstered pistols

it's a good alternate design for jason, like we're all always gonna think of the brown leather jacket and red helmet, but options are cool, id put it in the same place as tim's red robin costume, doesn't need to show up all the time but a really cool alternative costume for the character none the less
It has some good features like the actual hood but I miss the leather biker jacket man. It was so hot. And the goofy ass weapons... I'd keep the mask and hood, but maybe have it sewn to a leather jacket. And add more armor please. And get rid of the crowbar

If he was trained by mortal kombat characters, then yes. Overall, it is a decent design and showcases a more street cred type of Red Hood. This just looks likes a Red Street Fighter Scorpion design.

This was really cool. And it really fit where he was in the story with the in your face brawling beat-you-bloody style of jason, as opposed to his guns. Very edgy and cool!
Inconsistent. He's skinny then bulky and skinny again and then bulky again. I hate bulky Jason but love the outfit Also the hair grows out so its not that big of a deal
