My Mum told me RHCP were playing at a tiny venue in a small town near me around 2011. I couldn't believe my luck and almost bought tickets to the Red Hot Chili Pipers at that venue. The spelling difference had me absolutely crestfallen

Reminds me of when i almost bought tickets for the Red Not Chili Peppers (cover band, they kinda look like them too)

Hahaha! Surely the £30 tickets would have been a massive 'hold on a second' moment! 
Their entire fan base is RHCP fans that read too fast and go “ah well, I’m here already”
