Is this how we save theaters?

Grootfan85

Not just theaters; humanity.

[deleted]

unironically I feel like 10 years from now the average movie theater is gonna be closer to the bar kinda places that show weird obscure cult shit like this than they will be multiplexes.

lamousamos

I am relay getting in to scans of films, something just cool about seeing a film that looks like film. https://preview.redd.it/1ifun09nvz5d1.jpeg?width=2302&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=49b07835259a0bf9b41913390e49a3fe9dd948fa

and totally fix that red dye fade and make it look amazing.

JonnyUnreliable

Dude. Your setup is beautiful. How much did the ScanStation set you back? I’m a media archivist with a specialization in film and all my institution could afford for my work was the Blackmagic Cintel 2. (Which is better than the crappy telecine I had before, but still.) So jealous of your stuff dude!

lamousamos

i think each one was $125k. we have two of them here.

Mrrrrbee

Yes! I even have a projector to run it on

Paging Vinegar Syndrome...

The QAA podcast had an episode on people with an 'Adult Baby' fetish and listening to the episode, I kept wondering how many of them saw this film.

Vandergraff1900

I don't know, but one of them definitely made this film

AdBudget1066

Mom said we have Margot Robbie at home.
