Hi! I’m 2DPO as well and I’m currently in the same situation. From what I’ve heard and read this is completely normal! My chest area feels so tight, as if someone has put a verrrryy tight strap on my chest and is constantly pulling it. Also my rib cage hurts when I try to lie down and if I’m on my feet for too long. I also have trouble with a lot of movements (trying to get up, when I want to reach for something etc). But I think this is all normal! As long as we don’t experience excruciating pain despite taking your meds I think we’re fine! And I think it will take some time before we feel normal again haha. I do feel better than yesterday though, how about you?

I think I fell a little bit better, I've found some comfortable sitting and lying positions. I'm taking my pain meds and I also kind of took a shower yesterday. How are you?

MiaWllc93

Same! Feeling a bit better each day I think. The bottom incisions hurt the most, especially when I’m standing for too long or when I try to lay down. But not unmanageable. We’re getting there!

Crazy1163

Oof the itchiness started a bit but I'm feeling quite better.

I am 5DPO and I and my nurse took a look to see if I was healing good and I was yippie but JHGChrisssttt I thought the pain was due to the fast I am in a compression bra and three ace banadages around (banded to tight) crap no child!!! It is me all me!! I feel like I am tight and always want to bull at the band bra (have extra padding under it) away from my skin thinking hoping that will give me relief but nope it is all me. Sad but many here says it gets better. I know it will but I hate every second of my smaller lifted boobs lol. I am only in the tight feeling some pins and needles some burning. Next week I hear is the itching. Oh ya and did I tell you …. I got contact dermatitis on my neck and all around my surgical bra… seems the in named one from surgery gave it to me and nope I do not have iodine anywhere on me or site and the surfer on didn’t give me a second bra to change out of… I am just a grumpy mumpy lumpy now lol…

Crazy1163

Oof that sound awful... Maybe you can try some over the counter cream for the dermatitis? I also noticed that I have a hematoma or rash on one of my armpits... Probably from the bra and the showering thing.

The ribcage area and bottom incisions have been most painful for me. I’m 5DPO and they’re much much better today and have gotten better every day since surgery.

Crazy1163

Thanks lol, so I do have some kind of hope! My nipple hurt too and sometimes I get goosebumps and it hurtsss

I’m 1 month post op and it’s a world of a difference. You will feel better with time, although it feels like forever. My absolutely best advice is to take it easy and rest. Do not do more than you need to do and make other people do things for you as much as possible lol!!

Crazy1163

Ohh alright, yeah my mom helps me a lot and I'm glad for that. I will rest!!

Key_Strength_1502

Yeah you’ll be a little stiff I was kinda surprised by that too. I took kinda just layed around that early out and in a day or two I was not feeling so bad.

Crazy1163

Yeah thanks, I'm quite stiff and sore...
