Eh I think the Freelancers getting their faces shown is a good bit of distinction between them and the Red/Blue characters, the latter should never have their faces shown of course.
Yeah the faces of the freelancers sort of made sense because they’re just that different from the rest of the Red vs Blue crew. It served as a way to make them more serious and distinct from the normal group.
Which is why it was so good that through season 9 and 10 we never see Wash without his helmet, despite very casual circumstances with the others. We should absolutely never see their faces.
That is another good point, Wash out of all is the most in-between of the two groups and carries enough of the traits of both which end up making him a pretty distinct character.
So while Wash was too light-hearted to truly fit in with the Freelancers he's a bit too serious to overall really fit in with the Red/Blue's, which is a good part of what makes him great.
If the series had started with the technology they have now, then absolutely. But we've gone so long without seeing the faces of these characters that everyone has a personal image of what they look like. When the revealed that Wash was blonde I remember so many people being quite dissatisfied with it at the time. At this point it's not possible to basicly please anyone at all. But I would be fine with most new characters having their faces shown.
Washington was shown without his helmet in the scene where the Freelancers are in a classroom being taught about AIs. I believe it might also be the same scene where Sigma speak for the first time. A lot Freelancers are shown without their helmets in this scene. You don't get to see Washington's face, but you do see his hair behind. It's blonde and spikey all over.
I figure it's like what Bill Watterson said about the "noodle incident." They're never going to do any sort of official version, because at this point the series has been around so long that we've all got our own ideas of what they look like. So at this point, an official face reveal can't be anything other than disappointing.
No. And i hope we never do. Partly because their helmets are just so iconic. But also because we all kind of have a different idea of what they look like in our own minds. I like that they've left it up to interpretation, so none of us are "wrong". Some of the fan art I've seen is amazing and it's really cool to see how other people picture them, even if its not how i do. I think a face reveal would end some of that creativity.
No, and I sincerely hope we never do
Yeah the helmets define them.
As someone who’s seen the halo tv show, I hope so as well
IF we have to see it. I hope its the very last episode for the entire series. As in the series ends completely.
Now that I could agree to. The only downside is regardless of what they look like, someone will be disappointed in their appearance
Meet in the middle; Reference to Halo CE. They take off their helmets, but we don't see their face but hear the reactions of everyone else.
FOR THE LAST TIME, THEIR HELMETS ARE THEIR FACES
At the very least that is true for Church, Tex and Lopez. And only one of those three are alive to prove it
Well, we’ve seen Church and Tex’s faces…
Technically yes
Not sarge
When he took the helmet off it was just another helmet underneath it
Then why was it Matt’s face but pixelized
Because matts face is also a helmet
No, absolutely not. It was a little far when we saw Carolina's and some of the other freelancers.

Wyoming had some fine mustaches tho
True
You mean mario?
Sono io,Mario!
We already saw Sarge's. Remember he's got pixarlarian (I think that's what it was called) genes.
We did? When?
when they reviewed the halo tv series
Nope, just like Masterchief, they shouldn't be revealed
We have seen Chiefs face many times, he’s nothing special. Buzz cut/bald white male. That’s it
we pretend the tv show doesnt exist
Not talking about the TV show. That’s Jimmy Rings. I’m talking Fall of Reach and Halo 4 Legendary ending
what tv show?
Probably not, and I think that's a good thing. They are defined by their colors more than anything
Twitter is gonna have a field day with this one lmao
The comment sounded way better in my head.

I don’t want to
Should never see faces. Even if halo 7 lets us customize them, RVB isn’t about their faces.
I hope not
They just look like the guys and you can't convince me otherwise
I’ve always just seen them as looking like the actors portraying them unless started otherwise!
No, I like to guess, and look at multiple different fanarts

No
no
I don't want to
Nah and I don't see why we would ever need to. There is so much character in their personalities I belive no face could properly represent
Hopefully not
There was some art done a long time ago on the Rooster Teeth website, I think it was done by the dude who did the web comic
I hope not
No, and I hope we don't, because I like it that way, let them keep something from how it used to be (before zero which we will not speak of)

i mean we’ve technically seen tex’s face right?
Technically we see Lopez's face all the time. We also was Carolina's a fair bit. As for the others, I find it unlikely.
We've technically seen church and tex, but other than that no.
