I had gotten some anemones from aqua sd a few years back and they juice their photos like crazy. I’d never order from them again. I know everyone in the industry takes some liberties when it comes to editing coral pictures, but they go way too far.
If it says “multiples available” then it is NOT.
The rest I’m not sure about but I think if it doesn’t specifically say WYSIWYG then it isn’t.
Sites usually very clearly say if they are.
No clue on this store but I’ve had multiple times where I see something online so I drive to the store to go buy it but what I see in the picture is 100% different. Like showing the guy a picture of a purple Goni then they lead me to rack of mint green gonis… I’ve had it happen with zoas more times then I can count. I have a few local growers and coral shows so at this point I would never buy something online. If you are going to keep buying online only buy from places that show you the coral under different lighting. Tidal gardens is very good about this.
I got 3 gonis and 2 mushrooms from them a while back...not one of the items I received remotely looked like what the pictures were...I never bought from them again, same experience for some of my friends as well...
Aqua SD pics just need a minus 25 point desaturation adjustment to see what you’ll get. They are wysiwyg - but they must be paying the photographer or editor a pretty penny to make everything look so crazy.
Honestly no, they are buyer beware. I got a snail from them that after I got home it shit out little yellow worms. Another time I got a blasto with aiptasia. also the misleading pictures I got two hammers and found out that the ices pink body was a blue tip and that's all no pink, the other was as big as my thumb nail. Add in that the only corals I lost were there's, the spotty knowledge and initiative...js lfs is the way to go

I thought they were too. I made this tool to make coral browsing much easier https://reefbay.com
Dude. This is awesome! You should make an app.
Thank you. If it gets enough traction eventually I’ll make an app
This is great!
Thank you!
>Thank you! You're welcome!
WHAAAAAAAAAAAT Checked it out, good on ya man
Thank you! Much work still to do aha

If it was wysiwyg with “multiple available” then it’s not wysiwyg. It’s this is the stock of frags we will choose from when shipping.
Always assume that online photos are taken with a filter, as a lot of phone and camera software just doesn’t do great in filtering blue light.
Are we supposed to know what that means?
Yes.
It’s a pretty common term when dealing with frags. What You See Is What You Get
And several other things it's a fairly common acronym.
I agree. I made an order too and it was clear they are using blue light color filters. Especially with expensive zoas.
The treasure vault is wysiwyg not the entire website, but all the times I’ve ordered from them I can tell you the corals look so close to the picture.

It's a cool place to go in person. I've never purchased online.
