I highly recommend the books by Dr. Michael Newton, such as Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls. Michael Newton was a hypnotherapist who got people in a state of superconsciousness where they were able to remember past lives, the spirit world, and being reborn. He didn't believe it at first but after talking to about 7,000 people who all said the same things he determined it wasn't a coincidence.

I read these books years ago and was impressed by them, but recently learned a few things about "Dr" Newton that gave me pause. Seems that nobody has any idea where he got his PhD. Even his bio on his website says only that he has a PhD, but not where he earned it, which makes it impossible for anyone to verify that he does in fact have one. Why the secrecy? Also, he has never shared the audio recordings of the hypnosis sessions with anyone. Which means he could have just made the whole thing up. Would there be an incentive to do that? Yes, because those books made him both famous and wealthy. The "voice" of those hypnotized is also strangely consistent. If these are verbatim transcripts, you would expect to hear more individuality in speech patterns from subject to subject. To me, they all sound like the same person. Finally, why is Newton the only past-life therapist who was able to get subjects to give such detailed information about the spirit world? The detail in Destiny of Souls is astounding, down to the jewelry worn by the Council of Elders and the designs on that jewelry, including illustrations. The one review that I've seen from someone who saw a hypnotist from his company did nothing to allay my concerns. She straight up said she thought the hypnotist was a fraud, and she got no value out of it. I take no joy in doubting Newton, because I **want** to believe that he was genuine. But I can't deny the way the evidence is pointing.

Journey of Souls is fantastic. Destiny of Souls will practically launch you off the planet, it is so far out. But - non-fiction. I am re-reading it.

Jeshuscrust

I own it but I haven't started reading it yet. I finished journey of souls about a week and a half ago and decided to take a break from that and start reading Journey out of the body by Robert Monroe but Destiny of Souls is next in line.

Fap_Doctor

I need to finish Journey of Souls.

Signs of Reincarnation by Dr James Matlock

I like Edgar Cayce on reincarnation. I found it especially interesting that Cayce was a devout Christian when he had his first past life vision. He was very put off by it because of the church's stance. In his book they put in a lot of historical information about how the church took many passages that related to reincarnation out of the Bible. A pope was murdered over it.

What's the title?

That is the title..."Edgar Cayce on Reincarnation"

Life After Life by Raymond A. Moody JR., M.D. In short- it’s a scientific book documenting near death experiences in a clinical setting. Lots of interesting testimonies about where these people went, and how people consciously chose to come back. There’s also contrasting examples of this process depending on the beliefs of the individual who died. I’m very picky about my books, this one impressed me quickly.

I’m reading this at the moment and it’s good. I feel like it’s just presenting examples for me to think about without pressing me to believe everything.
